And the highlight? Grace Tracey received the Vince Villa Award for Most Outstanding Female Sportswoman of the Year! She's the second student in 24 years to claim this honour, following in the footsteps of Lauren Sparks in 2006. The award was presented by SMC 1999 Alumnae Ruan Sims, a trailblazer in Australian women's sports. Grace, selected in both Australian 16-Yrs Merit Teams for Netball and AFL, continues to inspire. A big thank you to Ruan Sims for encouraging our students to embrace sporting opportunities, breaking barriers in traditionally male-dominated fields. Congratulations to all of our award winners! #SMCChampions #WomenInSports
STAY SAFE | Year 10 worked on their self-defence skills with professional guidance from the team at Stay-Safe. Students developed strategies to identify and respond to physical risks. The focus on the workshops was empowerment.
