Last week St Mary’s Year 7 student Kalyca Shillingford and her mother who tutors our year 12 Indonesian language students Sindu Shillingford met with Indonesian Bapak Presiden Joko Widodo and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese at Taronga Zoo.
OUTSTANDING SPORTING NEWS | During the first week of the holidays, Evie McGrath represented St Mary's, and NSWCCC at the Australian All Schools Rugby League Championships at Redcliffe in QLD. The NSWCCC team were fantastic throughout the competition, narrowly losing the semi final to QLD 12-10. Evie was exceptional all week, playing in the number 6 position and was particularly noted for her electric ball running, pinpoint passing, tireless defence and her leadership. Evie’s performance was justly rewarded with her being selected as the starting number 6 in the U18s Australian All Schools team. A fantastic achievement for Evie.
