ILLAWARRA HAWKS | Today our representative Basketball players had the chance to not only meet the players from the Illawarra Hawks Basketball team but also play a competition match in the College gymnasium. The Hawks were very generous with their time, sharing their skills and talents with the girls and an opportunity for autographs at the conclusion.

STATE WINNERS CSDA DEBATING | Yesterday, Friday 11 November, St Mary's Year 8 and 10 teams debated online in the Regional Finals of the CSDA Debating Competition. The teams were challenged to one hour preparations of impromptu topics. This is no mean feat! Year 8 were up against St Mary's Casino and Year 10 were up against St Paul's Kempsey. Both won and progressed in the afternoon to the State Championships where they pitted their wits against the Sydney Metropolitan winners for the prestigious State titles. St Mary's Year 8 debated OLMC and Year 10, St Patrick's College. BOTH TEAMS WON AND ARE THE STATE CSDA DEBATING CHAMPIONS FOR 2022.
