CLASS OF 2022 | Today the College celebrated the Class of 2022 at the Graduation Mass and Achievement Assembly held at the Win Entertainment Centre. It was a memorable occasion and a fitting tribute to a wonderful cohort. The whole College community participating in Mass and a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge all students' academic and personal achievements including their contribution to the College. We congratulate each and every one of them for their perseverance, resilience and discipline in completing the rigors of the HSC year. HUGE SUCCESS | Last night the Illawarra Schools ‘Excellence in Vocational Education and Training Awards’ ceremony was held at Villa D’Oro. Once again, St Mary’s was wonderfully well represented in our respective categories. The following Year 12 students received Certificates of Excellence: •Alicia Mason – Entertainment, Mia Perez – Entertainment, Genevieve Phillips – Business Services, Sophie Ryder – Business Services, Imogen Meznaric – Hospitality (Kitchen Operations). Additionally, the following students were recognised at the highest level of achievement: • Genevieve Phillips received the VET Student of the Year for Business Services. • Mia Perez received the VET Student of the Year for Entertainment. • Imogen Meznaric received the VET Student of the Year for Hospitality (Kitchen Operations). We are immensely proud of the work of our TAS/VET staff in enabling and supporting girls to achieve these awards as much as we are proud of the girls themselves.
