NATIONAL RACI TITRATION COMPETITION| With lab coats on and calculators in hand, our year 11 and 12 Chemistry students recently participated in the national RACI Titration competition. This competition sees students from across Australia test their skills in analytical chemistry by performing titrations to find the concentration of different solutions. St Mary's students spent countless lunchtimes refining their technique and gave up their Saturday to participate in the event. Just like Carbon, when our students were under the pressure of the competition, they turned into diamonds and one team took out third place! Congratulations to Jasmine Hemmy, Samara Poidevin and Mimi Ryan for their achievement and also to all other Chemistry students who took up the challenge with enthusiasm and skill.

DRESS FOR SUCCESS | Year 12 Work Studies students visited Dress for Success in Port Kembla. The students had a 30 minute interview technique session and the opportunity to try on some business outfits. This was a lot of fun… The girls got to keep their outfits ready for their post school employment interviews. A wonderful charitable organisation providing women in the Illawarra and all over the world this service. Thanks Dress for Success Sydney
