In his new book, Richard Keeley, the former CSOM Senior Associate Dean for Undergraduates and Winston Center Director, brings urbanist Jane Jacobs’ investigations of cities, nations, and economies into dialogue with today’s urban challenges.

At @BCWinstonCenter’s Clough Colloquium, former US attorney Joyce Vance shared the importance of upholding democratic standards, warning they may need to be codified into law to prevent abuses of power. “We’ve taken democracy for granted,” she said.
