Does anyone recognize this sweet dog?
Officer Jerry Perkins located her at Townsquare Shopping Center earlier today. With the animal shelter currently closed, she is safe with us for now as we try to locate her owner.
If you recognize her or know who she belongs to, please contact the Cullman Police Department.
Please share to help us get her back home!

April is Autism Awareness Month, and the Cullman Police Department is proud to stand in support of individuals and families affected by autism. This month serves as a reminder of the importance of understanding, inclusion, and compassion in everything we do as a community.
Our officers are committed to fostering positive relationships with all members of our community, including those with special needs. By promoting awareness and education, we strive to better serve and protect individuals with autism while creating an environment where everyone feels safe, valued, and respected.
Throughout the month, we encourage our community to join us in showing support, whether that’s learning more about autism, supporting local families, or simply taking the time to be patient and understanding in everyday interactions.
The Cullman Police Department will be participating in the DEA Drug Take Back event on April 25, 2026, from 10 AM to 2 PM.

🚨 INTRODUCING: CPD’s New Tactical Unit Vehicle🚨
After months of planning, budgeting, and “extensive taste testing,” the Cullman Police Department is proud to roll out our newest addition…
The Doughnut Tactical Deployment Vehicle (DTDV). 🍩
This state-of-the-art unit is fully equipped for rapid response to critical situations, including:
• Glazed emergencies
• Sprinkle-related disturbances
• Late-night “coffee shortages”
Outfitted with advanced technology, including:
✔️ Heated pastry storage
✔️ High-speed drive-thru capability
✔️ Officer morale enhancement system
We believe this will greatly improve response times… especially around local bakeries.
Citizens are advised: If you see this unit deployed, please remain calm and form a single-file line.

After years of service to his community, Chief Bill Partridge is hanging it up and stepping into a well earned retirement.
Bill’s been the kind of leader you can count on steady, respected, and always doing things the right way. He’s also been a mentor and a good friend to a lot of us in this profession, and I’m thankful for the example he’s set over the years.
I still haven’t lived down having to bring him doughnuts after Oxford got the better of Cullman that’s one he made sure I remembered.
Enjoy retirement, Chief. You’ve earned every bit of it.
