Exciting things are happening in the library! The Scholastic Book Fair has arrived. The library will be open 8am to 3.40pm daily for parents and students to purchase books. Please bring a reusable bag as we have a limited amount of plastic bags. Pre-K to Year 2 have been busy creating artwork from the book Bear in space and are excited to meet the author Deborah Abela. Years 3 and 4 have been creating birds and butterflies for our book week theme Dreaming with eyes open. Please check library bags for wish lists next week. #mamrelearning

Under the careful guidance of Mr Petersen, our Year 7 Digital Technologies students have started manufacturing their coasters by using the school's laser cutting technology . The detail of each of the coasters produced is quite astonishing. Well done Year 7 #mamrelearning

During Term 1 Year 9 Design and Technology students have been working with LED technology to produce desk lamps. Each lamp is distinctively different having been designed for a specific target audience and environmental location. Each lamp certainly reflects a number of 'bright' ideas. #mamrelearning

3M have been working hard all term to create their Insect Artworks. They have studied so many pictures and hand drew each of their insects. Then used water colours to create the amazingly vibrant colours. 3M have totally gone above and beyond with these outstanding artworks! #mamrelearning

Year 8 STEM Students have been given the task of developing a Hydraulic Arm to move an object either along a plane or around a fixed point. Students are collaborating enthusiastically on developing a mock-up before constructing their final functioning designs. #mamrelearning

A very big WELL DONE to a group of Year 2 Mamre Champs, lead by Dean. They (with the help of their parents) organised a truck load of donations to be sent to flood victims in Lismore. Well done team, clearly you have servant hearts ❤️. #mamrelearning
