In the lead-up, students explored the powerful message behind R U OK? Day during their Pastoral Care programs, learning how a simple chat can make a big difference. TAS AND CAPA SHOWCASE 2025 A big thank you to everyone who joined us last week to support our students at Our TAS and CAPA Showcase. IPSHA PERFORMING ARTS FESTIVAL 2025 Our Junior School Musical cast proudly represented Mamre at the 2025 IPSHA Performing Arts Festival, held at Sydney’s historic Town Hall. Showcasing months of dedication and preparation for our upcoming Junior School Musical, our students shone brightly on stage. They were joined by many other schools in an incredible celebration of talent and the performing arts. Congratulations to our first-ever group for successfully completing the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Practice Hike! YEAR 7 INFORMATION EVENING Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Year 7 Information Evening this week! It was a wonderful opportunity for students and parents to discover more about Mamre and explore the exciting transition into senior school, including the pathways and opportunities that lie ahead. YEAR 12 VS STAFF Our annual Year 12 vs Staff Competition has been heating up here at Mamre. The football round saw a 7–1 win for the staff, with a notable mention to Mr Rodgers, voted Man of the Hour by the Junior School. It’s now all tied up at 1–1 with three rounds still to go… will Year 12 take the lead, or will the staff claim the upper hand? #mamrelearning

BOOK WEEK 2025 This year’s Book Week celebrated its 80th Anniversary! With the theme “Book an Adventure”, Mamre students brought stories to life through imagination, reading, and wonderful costumes. GATEWAY 8 CHALLENGE 2025 Selected students from our Stage 4 & 5 cohort recently participated in the GATEway 8 Interschool Academic Competition at Macarthur Anglican School. Teams of eight tackled tasks inspired by Howard Gardner’s multiple intelligences, showcased their work, and battled it out in brain teasers – all while building problem-solving, teamwork and critical thinking skills. YEAR 2 VISIT SEA LIFE SYDNEY AQUARIUM Our Year 2 adventurers had a fin-tastic excursion exploring the wonders of the deep at the aquarium! They explored the unique habitats of underwater creatures and learn’t about the importance of protecting them. It was a day filled with discovery, wonder, and plenty of smiles! 🐟 🪼 #mamrelearning

98, 99, 100 days of Kindergarten! 🍎 This is just the start of our learning journeys! We’ve celebrated 100 days filled with laughter, friendship, ABCs, 123s, and learning about the love and story of Jesus, with so many new discoveries. Our students came up with some very creative, 100-themed costumes that were truly inspiring, and we are so thankful to our amazing staff for making this celebration so special. YEAR 10 BSTREET SMART ROAD SAFETY Our Year 10 students attended the bstreetsmart NSW event at Qudos Bank Arena. A powerful insight into the real consequences of risky driving. Students witnessed realistic crash scenes unfold, heard from people whose lives were changed forever by road trauma. The program aims to reduce youth road trauma by encouraging safe behaviour on the roads. #mamrelearning
