We have the honor and pleasure to announce the extraordinary jury for the 2024 edition of the Kaira Looro competition, composed of highly esteemed architects such as Kengo Kuma (Kengo Kuma and Associates , Benedetta Tagliabue - EMBT Architects , Agostino Ghirardelli SBGA - Blengini Ghirardelli , Mario Cucinella @mario_cucinella_architects , Urko Sanchez @Urko Sánchez Architects Raul Pantaleo TAMassociati , Tosin Oshinowo @oshinowo.studio , Emmanuelle Moureaux emmanuelle moureaux architecture + design , @elkabbajsaad , @Driss Kettani , and Mohamed Amine Siana . The jury will be charged for selecting the best participating project. The new edition will be unveiled in early January 2024, so stay connected to all our channels to not miss the first registration phase. First prize: cash + construction + internship with Kengo Kuma.

Message from Emmanuelle: "When I Saw the Earth for the First Time" - I imagined a picture book with a title like this. The colorful sphere represents the earth, the yellow sphere represents the sun, and the child holding the balloon is you, the main character. The diversity of living creatures that exist on this earth creates and drives the beauty of the earth. I expressed that through the universality and infinity of color. I hope that colors will move people's hearts. About the PEACE FOR ALL project: “It’s time for action, in the name of world peace.” Major figures who share this vision with UNIQLO have volunteered to design T-shirts expressing their peaceful wishes. All proceeds will be donated to international organizations supporting those affected by violence, discrimination, armed conflict, and poverty. The Peace for All project is powered by each and every one of you who wears these T-shirts. Our wish is for a world in which all people can feel the peace of a future where everyone can live safely together. UNIQLO will continue to broaden this initiative, working with people all around the world.
