From our very first conversation with Angel, to the day our son was born, we always felt like we mattered. Starting the adoption process can be scary and overwhelming. The journey of adoption is as unique as each of the families that go down the path. However, one thing I believe each family can agree on is that having an ally, a rock, and a coach to help along the way can make a huge difference. My husband and I knew we would be growing our family through adoption, and through the years of our marriage we talked about what it might look like when we took that first step, but that was just it, taking that footstep seemed daunting and overwhelming. Even with my background in social work, I felt like I didn’t know all I needed too, and my husband felt like a stranger to the process. Then we found Angel Adoption. We had a video chat with them and immediately we felt like, oh...WOW...okay, so they’re going to walk us through this! We felt like we had that ally, rock, and coach we needed to start our adoption path. Let me be clear, Angel never promised we’d have a placement. If any adoption firm does promise you that, then turn away from them because that is a promise no human could or should make. What angel DID promise was thoughtfulness, support, and answers to our questions, whenever we had them, whatever they were. We loved hearing from our adoptive parent coordinator each month. She would talk with us, cry with us, and dream with us while keeping our feet firmly grounded. We had the pleasure and honor of being close with our daughter's birth parents. Among the many things I learned from them is that the birthmother coordinator at Angel had truly empowered our birth mom and gave her the peace and confidence to make the choice that was best for her and her family. I remember our birthmom telling us that Angel made her feel like she was strong, that it was okay to be asking questions, and that is was a beautiful and safe path to explore. So, if you're interested in adoption and looking for your rock in this journey, take hold. Know that these women do all they can to take care of these birthmothers and educate the hopeful adoptive parents for the beautiful moment when their worlds collide. One of the most valuable things Angel taught me was this: It is all about the birthmom. It is about her and her baby. You and Angel are just walking alongside of her. To my husband and I, that beautiful sentiment helped to guide us with communicating and cultivating relationships with the birth family. There are no certainties in adoption. Only that it is beautiful if you open your heart to it, no matter what the path is. Angel will help you see that beauty and walk alongside of everyone involved. That, dear families, is what you want. Angel is loving, caring, compassionate, I could go on and on. I placed my sweet girl in October 2018 so I am a newer birth mom. I am 35 and have two older children that are 15 & 11. It has been a rough past 3 years for me so when I found out I was pregnant last year, I was petrified. I knew I couldn't raise another child and truthfully I didn't want anymore children after my 11 year old was born. Adoption has always been dear to my heart, my mom is an adoptee and my grandparents were seriously the best! I met with Angel and after an initial failed match with a couple that deceived both myself and the agency (they were working with two agencies in hopes of adopting two) I was presented with a profile that I felt drawn to even before opening and reading. I received a call that same evening and we talked for HOURS. We met for dinner the next evening and let me say that I have never in my life felt such an immediate connection. There was zero awkwardness and never a lull in conversation. I was only 11 weeks pregnant at the time and we spent the remaining 6 months of the pregnancy really forming a bond. They met my children and I visited their home. We would talk/text sometimes daily and not even always about the baby! We have an extremely insane amount in common and I truly believe we would have been friends if we had met under other circumstances as well. They were present for my entire labor, I unfortunately ended up needing a c-section, but dad came into the OR to watch his baby girl make her entrance to the world. We are 3 months post placement now and have a loving, honest, and open relationship. The kind that everyone dreams of having, but doesn't know exists. I am here to tell you that it does. They live an hour away (added bonus) so we see each other frequently and still talk/text sometimes daily. I truly believe that our bond is so strong because we took the time we had to really get to know each other and we have mutual respect for one another. At the end of the day, it is about what is best for the baby. I know without a shadow of a doubt that I chose the parents she was meant to have. We are all blessed to be in each others lives and I'm proud to call them my family. Thank you Angel for helping to make our family complete!

We are so grateful for everyone at Angel Adoptions!From the very beginning, to even now after we’ve adopted, they have been there every step of the way. I said to my husband several times during our journey that I felt like their only couple because they were so responsive to all of my questions and concerns. Our sons birth mother went into labor two weeks early, on the 4th of July, and we were in panic mode! I called Angel, anticipating I would get an answering machine as I had for everyone else I called that day, but I didn’t! They picked up and were quick to calm me down and reassure me everything was going to be fine. We are forever grateful for the work they do and the passion in by which they do it. We wouldn’t have our son if it weren’t for them and their help connecting us with his birth parents.

Like many other couples that have adopted, our journey began with our inability to start a family. After suffering from infertility for several years we were shocked to find out we were pregnant in 2015. Sadly, we lost our son and could have no more children. After allowing ourselves to grieve what we had lost we decided to adopt at the beginning of 2017. After researching several agencies we chose Angel. From the start they were there for us. They walked us through the entire process and checked in with us regularly. They encouraged us through two failed connections, and made sure we had the support we needed when we were finally matched with our birth mom in February of 2018. Our son Jacob Oliver was born July 6, and we were there to see him delivered. Our sweet, brave birth mother asked my husband to cut the umbilical cord and me to do skin to skin with our little boy. It was the most amazing moment!! Jake is three mos old now, and is thriving! In fact, he’s already rolling over and letting us know that we’re going to have a hard time keeping up with him! We have a wonderful relationship with his birth mom and hope he can meet his big brothers one day. Our family is now complete, and we owe that to Angel.

I am going to be completely honest…I was starting to give up hope. Like most couples we struggled for years with infertility; Our complete adoption process goes back 9 years. We fostered to adopt through the state, and after a 5-year process, and a fail adoption we were emotionally and physically drained. We decided to take a break for a year to get our lives in order and recharge our battery. However, having a family was never far from our thoughts and prayers. When we were ready to start the process again, we researched several adoption agencies before deciding to partner with Angel; They were the first agency we reviewed. After looking at all the pro’s and con’s we kept coming back to Angel; something kept drawing us to them, and after our first phone call we was sure this was the right decision. The staff was very helpful and walked us through the process. Like most couples we were in another state, but we never really felt alone. They were there to answer every email, listen to our frustrations and allowed us to vent on failed connections. We were getting close to the end of our 2-year contract and through my heartache, disappointment of waiting, and failed matches I was very snippy and said, “what are we actually paying you for”. Everyone understood that it was not personal. They calmed us down, allowed us to cry and have our moment. They remained profession throughout the process, never giving up hope even though we felt deflated. Then, one Saturday in Feb we got the call every adopting parent waits for; a birth mother was interested in us. Our daughters birth mother was due in 2 weeks but ended up giving birth 6 hours after our initial contact. The staff at Angel jumped into action on a Saturday night, checking up on our daughters’ birth mother ensuring she was ok. They found a state agency that would take our birth mothers case at short notice and work with the hospital to make sure we had everything we needed. In 48 hours our lives changed for the better and we our little girl in our arms. We want to thank everyone at Angel Adoption for connecting us with a great birth mother. Our family is complete thanks to you.

My husband and I began working with Angel in 2016. We had always wanted children and decided to look into adoption for several reasons. The process was long as we waited almost two years to be connected with the right birth mom. Our son was born in March and has been a true blessing! The staff at Angel are very supportive and always prompt when getting back with us. We had so many questions and even had a failed connection last year. Adoption has changed our lives and we would not have our little one if it weren’t for everyone at Angel. Early on, we decided we were okay with an open adoption. Our son’s birth mom and I text each other regularly. She is one of the strongest people I know and we are so thankful we were connected. Where to begin. We decided somewhat later in our lives to adopt - we wanted to make sure we were ready in every way - mentally, financially and emotionally. We spoke with several agencies and Angel just seemed like the best fit for us. As a same-sex couple, we needed an agency who understood this, and Angel does. From the very beginning, they were there for us. About a year into our journey, we had our first failed connection. Most will experience this - and they tell you this - but it is heartbreaking. A month or so later, another failed connection. Feeling hopeless, Angel reached out to us to comfort and counsel, and it helped. We decided to get away for a while in December/January and when we returned, we were notified of another birth mother. Skeptical, but Angel helped us again. And this was the one. We now have our amazing daughter. Angel helped us connect with a social worker and attorney in the state of birth to help everything go smoothly, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our miracle result! We signed on with Angel Adoption in early 2017, then were matched with an expectant mother September of 2017 and our beautiful daughter was born on November 30, 2017. Our adoption was fortunately relatively uncomplicated and any questions or concerns were handled by our attorneys. With that said, we always knew the staff at Angel were available by email or phone and they periodically checked in on us which we appreciated. We can not thank our brave and selfless birth mom enough for the amazing gift as well as Angel for facilitating the match the led us to our precious girl.

We’re like many couples that struggled with infertility. Watching all of our friends and families having children and growing their families was difficult but we were happy for them. We would celebrate these blessings with our families and friends while inside we cried. I know many can relate with our story. You would think that the infertility and the fact that I was adopted as a baby myself would’ve brought us to Angel. But it was us being away from family (we are a military family) that made us realize how important family was to us. We got so used to putting on a brave face and dealing with the fact that we didn’t have children and how important family was to us. This started us on our journey looking for an adoption agency. I’m not gonna sugarcoat it , it is not easy there are ups and downs in the adoption and can be very expensive. Angel makes it easier to maneuver the system the help families looking to adopt and also the women that could be your future birth mom, whom are already struggling with the fact that they’re giving up their child. Choosing the right family must be a daunting task for a mother considering an adoption plan. The only advice I can give you is to be patient and trust the process , mostly trust the women at Angel Adoption . We had an failed adoption on the 22nd month of our contract with Angel and just weeks after our first failed adoption were informed there is a baby born that day and we were chosen for this child. Most of the time you try to build a relationship with the baby‘s mother but in this case baby’s mom had the baby and we grew a relationship with her after the birth. We still are in contact with her , not because we legally have to but because we love her so much! She has blessed our lives with this miracle baby,God meant for us to meet we truly believe that! Our sweet angels over at Angel knew that the fail adoption was still fresh in our hearts and mind we were truly heartbroken. We believe there’s a plan for everyone and first baby was not supposed to be ours. Just weeks later we got the baby of our dreams and couldn’t be happier with this little guy! Our lives have changed dramatically and forever and still ask each other” is this real ?”our son is now eight months! If you have to choose an agency definitely choose Angels adoption services They are and will always be our angels.

We are so happy that we decided to join the Angel Adoption family. We knew we wanted to grow our family and thought adoption would be the right way for us. We joined with Angel in November of 2016, completed our Home Study by February 2017, were connected with our daughter's birth mother at the end of April 2017, and our daughter was born August 2017.
