Paradise on earth We were on island hopping trip with my boyfriend and Blue Lagoon was our first stop. Boat ride took almost 5 hours so someone who is usually seasick should defo take some seasick pills. Even though ride is quite long you will get the most amazing views on the way there( and already plenty of time to get tanned by the time you get there :D ), and you have also opportunity to see all resorts on the way(so if you have no other resorts booked yet this is great opportunity to decide where is your next stop gonna be). Blue Lagoon was from all of our stops our most favourite place. Iti s quite small resort so it is great thing that it is not packed at all so you really get kind of remote island feeling. Food plan for day is quite pricey but to be honest the quality and option you will get is unbeatable to compare with other resorts. You will get ala carte menu for lunch and dinner, some evenings day have Lovo dinner or continental options as well. Breakfast amazing as well really can not say a one bad word about food. This resort is one of the furtherest ones but rent of snorkel gear or charges for credit cards are the lowest from all islands ( we were expecting the opposite just because of distance). We were also reccommended to get our own water as islands are charging a lot for bottled water but you have water here included for free so you do not have to bother to bring your own ( however get some beers if you wanna save some money on our trip). We stayed in private room with shared facilities and room was beautiful and clean with huge bad and fan, so the bathroom and toilets we very clean and constantly stocked and cleaned during day. Activities are pretty good as well however most of them are in the morning so you will most likely manage only 1 during a day what means if you have limited time as we had you have to choose wisely :) Snorkelling is amazing, beach has beautiful white sandy beach and from all beaches we visited, we loved this one the most. We went for cave trip and snorkelling trip which is must go !! you get to hand feed fish and you will see thousands of them. Regarding staff - we really loved that everyone remembers your name right away and it feels like family, Staff is quite young and guys from activity shop are little crazy what we actually loved because they try to make sure that you always have fun on your stay. We are definitely coming back on our next trip to Fiji. Oh and for budget travellers, we had chance to see dorm room as well and to compare to other resorts this was really nice and clean dorm.
