Everything here is local and wonderful. The food selection isn’t huge, but what’s offered is excellent—after all, you’re on a remote island, so a massive menu isn’t realistic. Still, there are plenty of great options, and everything is thoughtfully prepared.
The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely enjoy connecting with guests. They live on a nearby island, and visitors play an important role in their livelihood, which creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. If you can, consider bringing small gifts—items like school supplies, backpacks, hats, or sunglasses are appreciated since they’re expensive and difficult to obtain without a costly ferry trip to the mainland.
Our oceanfront bungalow was fantastic. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was unforgettable, and there’s air conditioning available if needed. The dive shop was equally impressive, with a great team that made every outing enjoyable.
We’re planning another trip to a different island to dive with the rays, but we’d happily return here again. Overall, Fiji offers incredible value—you really can’t go wrong.
