Best choise on Yasawa Islands!

Read everything... please! I had a truly fantastic 9 days here. The location, the staff, and the reef right in front... simply breathtaking. However, I was there during the off-season. I imagine it can be significantly less pleasant during peak season. A huge shout-out to the Japanese restaurant, wow! Which brings me to my criticism: You HAVE to pay 189 FJ dollars to eat there. Drinks, except for still water, aren't included and aren't cheap either. You can't choose to have just breakfast or just dinner. I find that disappointing. On top of that, they charge a 2.9% card fee at the end. For nothing... So, my recommendation for everyone: Bring plenty of beer/cola/etc. and cash... Then you can save a lot of money. Regarding activities: The massage was great. The cave trip was okay, but in my opinion, too expensive for what you get. The snorkeling was superb. The village visit wasn't really good. You walk through it once, but apart from souvenirs, nothing is explained. A shame!
