Wir hatten uns sehr auf den Ort gefreut. Dann erlitt ich leider eine schlimme Lebensmittelvergiftung nach dem Konsum von Hähnchen, als ich dann einen Fiebermesser benötigte, kostete mich dies 70 Dollar inkl. zusätzliche Panikmache durch eine hauseigene Krankenschwester. Immerhin erhielten wir das Geld zurück wegen einer vorzeitigen Abreise.

Unfortunately, Blue Lagoon Resort did not meet our expectations. The service felt extremely unmotivated and was no comparison to the warm, genuine hospitality we experienced at other resorts in Fiji. It was especially disappointing for friends we met there, as they didn’t get to experience the friendly and welcoming side of Fiji that makes this country so special. The food was decent, but again, not up to the standard of the other resorts we stayed at. The resort also felt very commercial and was filled with many backpackers, which took away from the relaxing island vibe we were hoping for.
