We were worried our puppy would run off so we talked to a friend who told us to call John. John is great to work with. He is very responsible, respectable and professional.
We noticed John was obviously a dog trainer as well from the way he had control of our dog from the start. We walked the property and worked through the best configuration for us and our dog. Our dog is much happier being able to run around outside and us without fear of him running off! I would definitely recommend John to friends.

From the minute John walked in my door and saw my two ridgebacks charging at him, he had them under control. Working with one dog is a lot of work, but 2 dogs is just complete insanity. John had them heeling and sitting in just a few minutes! I worked with them for the next week or so until John came back for the next lesson. This time he introduced pinch collars to me and my pups. I wasn’t sure about it at first but I was desperate to try anything to get them to be perfect on a leash during walks. Oh my goodness, I can’t even begin to tell you how it has changed all of our lives here in my home! The collars are great as they don’t hurt the dogs, but keep them in check. Maverick and Cali are like completely new, well trained, dogs. It’s so nice to be able to walk them and actually enjoy the walk with them.
John also installed the hidden dog fence. One word: AMAZING!!! We live in a rental so putting up a fence was not an option. With the invisible fence and some training, my pups are able to run free in the back yard. I was worried that something like that would hurt them, but John adjusts the correction on each collar to suit the needs of each dog. Maverick is a bit of a slow learner compared to Cali, so he was corrected a few times. However, yesterday he went out to the front with me and as he started to get to close to the perimeter he heard a beeping noise. He immediately stopped in his tracks and turned around!! I was thanking God that he finally grasped it!! The fence was installed just about a month ago and with the collars and the training , it is just a god send! I can’t recommend John or the hidden dog fence enough! John doesn’t just install the fence and leave, he actually shows you and the dogs how it works, he trains them, and shows you how to do it so you aren’t completely lost.
John really knows what he is doing and he is a please to continue to work with. I highly recommend him and his hidden dog fence!

John is a great trainer! No doubt this man knows what he's doing. A few months back our 2 dogs got into a bad fight over a treat it was a horrible and upsetting experience...which led to a vet visit. I was so upset I thought for sure I might have to get rid of one. The vet told us not to get discouraged and to look for a good trainer. My husband found John on the web and said to me this guys has great reviews I'm calling him, and thank god he did. John replied immediately and the first session he had them both almost standing at attention with absolutely no treats..he was amazing. John not only showed us what he can do, but was able to convey to us what was to be done for proper dog training. We appreciate all he taught us and our dogs. We continue to work with them both and they are doing great, no more fights only plenty of licks.. Thank you John!!!

Hey John, I just want to thank you for enlightening my burden in how to manage to live with 2 hyper-dominant breed I have ,which are Jack Russell terrier (8 months ) and Belgian Malinois (4 months).
Living first with JRT was difficult the first time and I was able to manage him lately.
Then , I decided to get a Mal cause I been wanting to own a guard dog at the same time a playmate with my spoiled JRT, However, my Jack Russell hates the presence of my Malinois. Everytime, I let them loose from their cages of hoping that they'll play, instead,they went biting each other and came to my realization that I need a dog trainer who can assess what are the issues.
First, I lsigned upmy JRT to Petco for group obedience class but as I met the trainer, I feel that he doesn't have the right energy with my dog and all for positive re-inforcement, which I think, it doesn't work for all breeds.
That's the point that I canceled the Petco Obedience class and contacted John.
I like this kind of service which is the trainer goes to your house and assess what are factors causing the problems.
As soon as John enters my home , my 2 high -energy dogs that usually bark when someone is visiting me, were very quit like assessing the person. Then I, told my self, that this guy is the right person for my 2 dogs.
My first time to see, that my JRT respects a stranger, he even approached John , that i may describe it like "bended knee".
All I can say, that if he starts talking/lecturing you what to do, you have to listen attentively , cause you might missed some important points which was I did
9 ( my attention span is diminishing lately). lol ..I didn't realized that " hey, he was teaching me to become a good handler/owner, he was training me to be a pack leader..
I just had 2 sessions with John which in progress help my situation.
I ask him again next time for another sessions, when my Malinois will approach in his 5 months of age...

John is a dog whisperer. He is amazing he got our stubborn dog to listen and obey commands in just 4 lessons and she is loving him too! He comes to your home and trains you and your dog. He's an awesome trainer! We are very satisfied!

From the first moment John met our dog he had her attention completely. We learned to stop her from jumping on newcomers, heal and walk without pulling, and to sit on Day 1. We've just completed the last of 4 sessions. The training has been excellent, fun and simple. Five stars aren't enough.

Yesterday was my first appointment with John. I have 2 mini schnauzers that just turned 1. The are both fearful and the male is fear aggressive. It was a train wreck taking them for a walk. After just one session They are both heeling on my left side and walking behind me. I feel very confident that with continued reinforcement work we got this. I look forward to the remainder of my training sessions with john and look forward to seeing great results with my dogs. He comes to your home and the fee was very affordable.

I have a chow mix just under a year old. My husband and I received her from someone who couldn't care for her. She was bad on walks, jumped on us, bit us, etc. It was extremely discouraging but after just one session with John, it was so easy to walk our dog! It is like having a completely different dog. I highly recommend John. He is an awesome trainer. Very dependable and always answers my questions as soon as he can. First time he came to train my 4 dogs there was a positive difference. My stubborn , dominating french bulldog/Boston terrier definitely responded great with John s training. My vet recommended John to me. I am very thankful she did.

John worked magic with one lesson! He spent an hour giving me the basics of how to stop my dog from pulling and dragging me on a walk and the very next walk I was leading and my dog was heeling! It was amazing! I can't recommend John enough and would advise him for anyone with a strong breed - I have a Native American Shepard (very strong-willed) and he respected John immediately. We are excited to see what else comes with all the following lessons!

We hired John 11 years ago to train us and our new puppy. We learned so much and had a wonderful experience. After our dog passed away we got a new puppy and hired John again. He is now training and whole family as kids are now part of the pack. Everyone gets excited to do our homework and our new pup is thriving. In home training is the best way to learn how to be a responsible dog owner and John is the best trainer. Call him you will be amazed.

I called John out of pure desperation. We had adopted a year and half old plott hound terrier mix that was in a kill shelter. He is highly energetic but the longer we had him we noticed that he was developing some aggression issues. He wouldn't listen to commands and I struggled to have an obedience structure and control with him. He wouldn't listen to "No", when i would walk him it was a constant pulling action that was taking place more like our dog was walking me. I called John and he talked with me over the phone and explained his theory with me about our dog. He suggested to come to our house and meet our dog in person for a free consultation to see what he would be working with. Within minutes of him coming to our house he had full control over our dog. He began listening to his every command. It was highly impressive even my husband was blow away we have never seen him act like that. His methods work. We have been working with John for a few weeks now and there is definitely a new level of control. His techniques work! Our dog is now finally listening to our commands. When we take him for a walk he will walk right along side of us its like hes not even there. I couldn't say enough good things about him and his ability to train dogs, he seriously speaks to them. As we work with our dog more and more he is beginning to learn who the boss is and obey our commands. I can't say enough good things about John, he seriously changed the bad behaviors I was struggling with. I can not wait to see what more he does when we have finished our last session.

Our 8 month old lab named Luna is intense and easily excitable. We could not manage her behavior on a flat collar and as a result we crated her often. John introduced us to the pinch collar, which I was hesitant to use at first. However, he took the time to explain and demostrate proper use. Luna was heeling well with all family members after her very first lesson! What a difference the right collar can make! We have had 3 lessons so far and there is a marked difference in her behavior with the techniques John has shown us. More importantly, Luna is crated much less often and walking her is an enjoyable experience. Thank you John!

I called John to train my 7 month old German Shepard, "Kody" who was very unruly and wild. John made an immediate impact on Kody's behavior. Not only did he work with Kody, he worked with my daughter's two dogs who I live with to improve the overall interaction of all of the dogs! In our last session John got Kody to go up a ramp to get in my car. I had been trying to do this for a couple of weeks, but had failed. John led him to the ramp and he went right up. Amazing! I highly recommend John!!

I called John to help with my dominant and extremely strong (85lb) Blue Nose Pitbull and was immediately impressed with his skills. John is the real deal!! Nothing but great things to say about him. We have a (now 7 month old) pitbull and with in two minutes of meeting him, John had him under control. We notice a difference in our dog with just one session ! We just finished our 5th one and Gus is a whole new puppy ! His listens to us, walks better on leash and responds great to his electric collar. We recommend John 1000% !!
