Incompetent cat killing imbeciles. DO NOT GO HERE unless it's an absolutely emergency which requires absolute immediate attention. These people have had a significantly negative impact on my life, as well as my family members. I don't know if it's fair to use that this is the worst vet in the area as we have only been to 3 other places, but we've had a terrible experience with their service, care/advice provided for our pet. Our cat had hyperthyroidism and somehow by doing a few hours of online research I knew about the condition more than the person who was examining our cat. They seemed to be completely incompetent and knew nothing about any course of action. Their knowledge was laughable as it was very basic and it's not something that you would expect a professional facility to provide you with, especially when you are paying for the service. We've spent ~£400-600 in total and unfortunately we had to put our cat down. It's very traumatizing to even recall what happened in their care but we were very hesitant in handing over our cat to them as we told them repeatedly that she never goes outside and doesn't really see new people - she was very afraid of the environment at the vet. They asked us to keep our cat in their care as they would administer IV treatment to give her some fluids and make sure that she would be full of nutrients/fluids. THIS WASN'T DONE and they even charged us for it. Their reason was that "cat wasn't complying". I don't even know what sort of imbeciles work here - they didn't even have the audacity to call us and advise us of this. They kept our cat in their care for over 24 hours for absolutely nothing. They treated nothing and haven't helped her at all, if anything they made it a lot worse than what it was. It was absolutely traumatizing seeing her after they handed her back to us. She completely lost her voice and she was so frail that it was heart braking. They shaved off a huge chunk out of her fur for blood tests without even checking with us. Some of the doctors did seem to be fairly knowledgeable but there was 0 communication between their colleagues/departments. They didn't know who assessed the cat previously (at the same building) on a couple of occasions. You people only care about money, not the pets or their treatment.
