I can’t recommend Goddard’s Mandeville Vet Hospital enough! In August, my cat Meli swallowed a piece of tinsel, and from the very first call late in the evening, the team was incredible. The person who took my call was professional and reassuring, and from intake to discharge the veterinary surely and nurses were warm and knowledgeable. They managed to remove the tinsel safely without surgery, which was amazing, and Meli has been completely fine ever since.
Just last week, I received a referral for my cat Iris to have an ultrasound, and once again, the experience was phenomenal. The reception team provided me with all the information I needed ahead of time, so I knew exactly what to expect. The nurse who handled Iris’s intake (I didn’t catch her name) was wonderful—she explained everything thoroughly, including the risks, and answered all my questions with so much patience. The student nurse Addy also did a fantastic job during Iris’s discharge, making sure I understood her medications and addressing any final concerns I had.
Yes, their services are on the pricier side, but it’s worth every penny. This is why pet insurance is so important; Goddard’s Mandeville Vet Hospital always handles my claims efficiently and without any hassle. Their professionalism, kindness, and exceptional care make them, hands down, the best vet hospital I’ve ever worked with.

We have used Goddards for years. We took our French bulldog today and Pheobe the vet and reception staff and the nurse who helped us were so amazing and we couldn't ask for a better experience when it was such a rough time for us. We were visibly upset and they treated our fur baby with respect dignity and the care was imesserible. Thank you so much for your continued help and caring nature towards our animals.

Thank you to Maria and the Goddard veterinary team for looking after Esther. Your swift actions and professional approach, in conjunction with the team in Chalfont St Peter, literally saved Esther's life.
The team were clear on the potential outcomes and transparent about the costs. A splenectomy is never going to come cheap but if your pet needs emergency treatment, do not hesitate to engage with the Goddard Teams.

"Good morning,
I wanted to share my opinion about this wonderful animal-friendly clinic. The cat that I take care of had surgery and from the beginning, I was already well taken care of over the phone, as well as my cat on the day of the surgery. I felt stress which was quickly dispelled by the lady at the reception and the doctor, who are both angels. The cat is playing and eating well the day after the surgery.

Thank you so much to the vetinary doctor Andrew, I was completely distraught when I called early hours worried about my dog Missy, you could of easily scammed or conned me...there are plenty practices that will, especially online! I really can't thank you enough for your reassurance, advice and concern. In life you meet or speak to people and you get a vibe where you know whole heartedly you can trust them even if you don't know them. My pets are staying with Goddards..thank you again.

I would like to thanks so much to the Goddard Vet Group in Northolt for taking care of our beloved Kiki.
Kiki was brought to the hospital by member of public after nasty accident. They looked after her from the very first moment and contacted me the following morning. Since then, Kiki went through 2 operations and now, after 2 months from the accident she is at home, ale to enjoy her life, play with her dogs and cuddles her human being.
Kiki is our life. She belongs to our home and there is she! Thank you soo much for looking after Kiki, helping her recover and do all what's possible to bring her home, where she belongs!

There aren't many emergency vet hospitals, so we were forced to use Goddards Mandeville for our cat who fell severely ill with sudden kidney failure from something she ingested outdoors.
Right from the beginning, we were told to put her down as she wouldn't survive more than a few days. We're glad we didn't listen to their advice as she went on to survive several more months. It was precious time that we could enjoy with our pet before she passed away. She was relatively active, healthy and happy during those months so it was surprising that vets had told us to put her down.
We encountered different vets each time who all said different things, making this an even more stressful and emotional situation for us. One particular vet did not allow us to go into the consultation room with our cat when her blood was being taken for tests. This happened several times with this particular person and we were told that it was Goddard's policy. We don't understand why someone could think not having the owners present is better seeing as our cat naturally feels more calm and reassured with us around. Even more ridiculous, was the suggestion that we give our docile cat sedatives before the blood test to calm her down instead of using common sense and allowing owners to be present to calm her down naturally. The same vet did do a good job at explaining her condition though.
When our cat fell very ill and was barely moving, she was not classed as an emergency straight away. We were made to sit in the waiting room at Mandeville for hours while her condition continued to severely deteriorate.
The approach from Goddards was lacking in recognition of the fact that many of our pets are like family members to us. We would suggest Goddards has only one or two assigned vets to a patient, that owners should be permitted to calm their pet and present for when their bloods are taken.

My Frenchie had BOAS surgery and has benefitted massively from this. The aftercare was very good. However the administration between Insurance and Vets was not great. This is where Puja stepped in and sorted out all the problems between the two companies. She took ownership of the problem and it was a weight lifted off my shoulders. It would not have been a 5 * review without her efforts. I cannot thank her enough.
