Really caring and helpful staff all around, from the vets to the nurses and reception staff. It’s sometimes tricky to get seen as they get so many referrals and emergencies as a 24/7 hospital but it gives me so much peace of mind that they’re right around the corner if anything serious happened!

Title: Highly Disappointed with Veterinary Clinic's Practices

OVERPRICED & WILL ADVISE YOU TO PUT DOWN YOUR PET
I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience at this veterinary clinic. After my cat suffered a sudden seizure, I brought him to this clinic seeking urgent care and guidance.
Unfortunately, the clinic's approach left me shocked. Despite the overnight stay and a bill exceeding £1000, the following day, the vet strongly urged me to euthanize my cat, claiming he was in extreme pain and had little chance of survival. No test results suggest this but they said it might be tumor. Despite my request to keep him home for a few more days to observe his condition, they persistently pushed for euthanasia.
Moreover, I was pressured to sign documents against my wishes, as they insisted on disregarding the doctor's advice and taking my cat to another local vet for euthanasia. I declined this offer.
Contrary to their dire predictions, my cat has made a remarkable recovery over the past year. He is now able to walk, eat, see, and play with me, demonstrating his improved condition. He has been doing great and I feel that I saved his life.
The clinic's approach seemed callous and one-sided, resorting to euthanasia as the default solution without exploring alternative options or respecting my desires as the pet owner. Furthermore, their high bills are just laughable.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this veterinary clinic. The lack of compassion, professionalism, and consideration for alternative approaches is disheartening. Pet owners deserve an environment that prioritizes thorough examination, thoughtful recommendations, and respect for their wishes.
I encourage others to exercise caution when considering this clinic and to seek out establishments that uphold the highest standards of veterinary care, compassion, and open-mindedness.
My cat lives another day :) :)

I can't recommend Goddards enough. Frank the pug has had a repeated UTI that Canonbury Goddards first handled but recommended Wanstead for further tests as they had more resources. The vets went through everything with us. Explained the costs completely and of course, Frank adores them. We've used Goddards for the past 5 years and they are consistently wonderful.
I have no complaints at all, and thoroughly recommend them

Absolutely horrible. The Vet told me that my 5y old lab has an aggresive form of cancer just by touching some lumps before doing any tests. I had to tell my 4y old daughter that her best friend is dying but lucky I could afford to do more tests instead of putting the dog to sleep and turned out to be just inflamations that got fixed quickly with some steroids. For the prices that they practice they are very unprofessional, bad communication, won't use again. Happy to have gone somewhere else and got it sorted.
Update: No one has been in touch like they say, they are just full of lies. Only care about their pockets!

My dog was a bit poorly today. Had to take him for an emergency appointment. The vet was very understand and diagnosed him with a uti. Glad it wasn't anything more serious. There is still life in the old dog.

I have had to put 1 star to post, but it deserves nothing. This is by far the worst vet practice that exists. They make mistake after mistake without taking any responsibility, and when you try and complain, it is not dealt with formerly, but dealt with by inept staff that like to play the blame game. There is no communication with staff at all, so you pet is given the incorrect results or advice, tests go missing or are taken incorrectly and have to be taken again, a major one is misdiagnosis and it is rife in this particular practice. I live in Wanstead and the number of pet owners that have had their pets misdiagnosed is horrendous, and I wish they would all speak up to stop it from happening to other people. Their emergency services are also terrible. They needed better trained staff, and I am not talking about the administration staff, I am talking about the vets. I whole heartedly advise you to not take you beloved pet to this awful place, they will not make them better.
To Goddard's marketing/social media team, stop replying with lies. The feedback team have not been in contact, but instead your incompetent clinic manager could not be bothered to actually resolve the clinics discrepancies and negligence and have decided to send my account to debt collectors. It also is evidence that they do not have any customer service/resolution skills.

Very awful experience, they took my lovely Rosie, my sweet cat from me from our family ,i will never forget that day,my Rosie had an accident in her eye ,she needed an operation, first night they asked me to pay £625 for med ,for one night !!! I noticed that they dont really care about your pet ,only your pocket.
For 2nd day they asked me to pay 3000 they said eye operation it is expensive,which I couldn't afford ,they offered me instalments .I was devastated I had a blood pressure very high and went to hospital I will never see my Rosie again.

Absolutely Love this practice and the staff .... BUT 3 months wait for a dental procedure is far too long.
