I would seriously reconsider taking any animal to this place I brought my cat boots here, two weeks ago to see (Iona Baker) for breathing problems and also her lack of appetite. They took a scan and said they couldn’t see anything wrong with her stomach But told me that she had a loose tooth and it would cost me between £700-£900 to get it removed (offering me an appointment within days) However they gave me two types of antibiotics charging me £320!!! after a couple of days, I noticed things deteriorated with boots So I decided to take her for a second opinion elsewhere where they informed me the tooth had nothing to do with her breathing and they’ve seen far worse with happier cats but to continue taking only 1 of the antibiotics prescribed as the other one would only make her sick seeing as she’s not eating…. which I done But only lasted for a couple of days before she started to feel I’ll again so I took bk to a (proper vets) today and they gave her the same scan that these recon they done and didn’t see anything Only to inform me that she has a tumour which was bleeding internally Hence the breathing problems, and I’ve had no choice but to put her to sleep I only wish a read the reviews before taking boots here There definitely more interested in your money than your loved pets!!!! As for your response, please get in touch. Via email Are you serious… you should be calling me!!! you’ve left boots in pain claiming to have done a scan where you would’ve seen the tumour!!!! You’ve destroyed my household with your incompetence You gave her 2 medicines 1 was ok and the you shouldn’t have You claim to have done a scan, you clearly didn’t All you wanted to do was take a tooth out saying that was the problem for her breathing. I have two other vets that state that was a ridiculous comment

Everything went well on our visit but it was made all more reassuring dealing with Holy on reception,very approachable,helpful and always smiling.was so helpful with all the booking and insurance paperwork and did everything she said she would do.Great experience given our poorly pooch

Unpleasant. Leaving animals to fend for themselves. I wouldn’t admit your pet here as they are routinely left in squalor. This is literally from someone I know who worked here.

Delighted with the changes made to the call handling system at the Wanstead veterinary hospital. Spoke tonight to Nicky after waiting only a few minutes to get through!. I remember regularly waiting up to an hour before getting through. Nicky was so happy to help me tonight, and genuinely so delighted to hear my feedback on the changes made in reception enabling clients to have vastly improved experience. We have been using Goddards since my cats were 7 weeks old, they are both 11 years old now!. I truly dreaded ringing the hospital because of the extended wait time to get through to the receptionist. Congratulations on all the changes that have been made, I shall now no longer have that sinking feeling when calling!. Big thanks to Nicky who was so kind, professional. Thank you to all of you who made the change happen.

The cost of the vets is so high we eventually had to put our beloved cat to sleep because we couldn't afford it any longer. It was £560 to put him to sleep. Beware of significant vet fees.

The best service in 25 years! Kellie gave us a 5-star welcome and my Labrador's vet, Doug, managed her brilliantly, given that she is frightened stiff in the hospital.

Second visit to the hospital, but with my youngest cat today. Emma the vet was fabulous. She treated Akina so gently and spoke to her as she examined her. Emma, was also very comforting when I got upset about having to leave Akina for tests. All in all, I left feeling comfortable with where my baby was being left.
