Goddards are just simply amazing. My cat was very unwell, they booked me in within 1 hour (at 10.15 pm appointment). Very professional Consultant checked her, prescribed medication, so my little cat has recovered quickly. Big thanks!!!!

I called in the morning around 9am asking for an appointment as I believe that my puppy has a ear infection (I am a NHS midwife and can recognise what an infection looks like). The receptionist said that they were fully booked but going after 7pm and possibly waiting a long time the dog would be seen. As soon as I got there they said that I shouldn't have gone and that no-one was available to see my puppy. I wasted £15 in cabs for nothing. This is the second time that this company is utterly unprofessional. The first time in March for the dogs 1st vaccination I was left out of the surgery on the street pavement and had to ask questions to a vet clearly freezing (she was doing back and forth without a coat), and I was not able to hear anything she said because of all the cars passing by. Definitely not a situation where I felt like I could ask questions. Enough is enough.

My poor cat was very ill and they took good care of her for a few days. The vets were keeping me updated during her stay and were very clear about her condition and helped me understand treatment options. I feel that she got the best possible care here.

I took my dog to Wanstead Vet Hospital out of hours, as my regular vet is closed on weekends. A vet hospital is no one's first choice for spending their Sunday night, but my dog showed worsening signs of being in pain, and FirstVet advised me to seek urgent help. However, the Goddard vet immediately acted like my visit was unfounded. He ignored the other vet's concerns before even performing the examination, and right away blamed my dog's sudden out-of-character behaviour on lack of socialisation classes and "the nature of the breed". I paid £220 for the privilege of being dismissed and talked down to. I fully understand that lockdown has produced many novice puppy owners, and I'm sure it's a frustrating time to be a vet. This assumed inexperience was wrong in my case — I've had dogs for most of my life, this is my 4th rodeo — but I was too taken aback to protest. Either way, even first-time owners should be trusted to be able to tell the difference between their pooches' normal range of behaviour vs. drastic, abrupt changes in personality. The attitude I received for being concerned about the latter was rude and unwarranted. On the positive, parking was convenient, the facilities seemed nice, the receptionists were kind, and I was appreciative to be seen quickly on very short notice. I've heard people have positive experiences with their cats here. But I hope to never have to take my dog back.

Thank you so much to Louise and the team at Goddard's who saved our little kitten's life! Maelstrom was hit by a car which left her with fractured ribs which had punctured her lung. We are truly humbled and grateful for the care and skilled treatment she received. Back at home and a few weeks later and she's pretty much back to her lovely, playful self :)

Goddards have been simply amazing with my dog Fyn who’s going in for back surgery today. From the receptionists, to the nurses, the vets and the admin team, nothing has been too much or to bizarre a question. I can’t thank them enough and they’ve taken time out of their day to make sure I understood, even brought me a box of tissues when I was a blubbering mess. I appreciate every single one of you, especially under such stressful times ❤️

I picked up my pets ashes , the receptionist took my money. Didn’t offer any condolences. Treated it like a normal transaction. This is my third cat who has passed In Goddards care and have never been treated in such a cold way. This was at Goddard Hospital Wanstead. Another time I complained due to the long waiting time. A bloke from reception replied : it’s only been 20 mins! This made me irate and more stressed than what I had been before, as my cat was poorly. They should employ people with compassion for pet owners feelings. The people who I dealt with on reception reflects badly on the rest of the team.

Our terrier had an allergic reaction to something. His snout and left side of his face started swelling up at about 2.30pm on Good Friday 2021. As it is a bank holiday, not many vets in London are open. Thankfully Goddard Vet Hospital in Wanstead was open. The reception answered the phone promptly and arranged a consultation within the hour. The vet himself was also fantastic and treated our little buddy so well that his face had nearly reduced in swelling completely by the time we got him home. He is a little drowsy from the medication, but we are just so thankful that we get to enjoy our Easter with a healthy doggo. Thanks for everything!

I have a russian winter white dwarf hamster and he suddenly fell of the bed and had a concussion and wasn't moving at all for 5 minutes. I was suggested to bring him to get it cheaked out I was very concerned and I was welcomed by a lovely lady called Erin Pearson. She examined my hamster immediately and told me there was nothing to worry about. He was fine! Later she showed me how to give him his medication. She was absalotely lovely and professional and hamsters are small pets to deal with but the way she dealt with it I'm very happy for the over all experience. Prices were quite reasonable too.. :)
