During this tough time during lockdown Goddards Wanstead have always been there for my animals, cannot fault the staff at all... especially Shaun our main Vet. Would recommend taking your animals here! They are always there whenever I call or email, if there is any issues they will be there. Even before Lockdown they was great & have only become better during this tough period.

Greedy company, care more about money than the animals. Have told me they will no longer give my cat his life saving medication (which I pay for) for an outstanding bill which I have offered time and time again to set up a plan for. Vile, vile people!

Busy, busy and always busy, so hours of waiting and pay hundreds of pounds.

Chaos. Waited over two hours for the appointment. Offered an appointment in 4 weeks time as an alternative despite the appointment being a critical Parvo vaccine. Avoid this place

We took our cat in beginning of September 2020 as he hadn't been eating for a few days. Ran some tests and said his kidney is badly damaged and will not recover, possibly cancer. Kept him in for a week, gave him fluids, ran repeat tests and said he was not getting better. Suggested we put him down. We decided to take him home and let him die naturally and he's still alive 3 months later. Test results are all fine now. Not sure of the exact reason for initial deterioration, possibly poisoning. Don't think the vets advised properly or considered all possibilities appropriately. Back in 2017, our cat was in for treatment for a couple of days, went to pick him up and smelt of urine- they didn't bother to clean his kennel because he was apparently feisty. Can't recommend based on our long term history.

Turned up last night at 00:40 for an emergency visit for our puppy as our local vets didn’t have an appointment till 8am! 10 minutes after being signed up we were seen by the vet on call, she was absolutely lovely and very informative. Our puppy was dealt with quickly, given a couple injections tablets and we were given full advice on how to continue going forwards. Really caring service and would definitely recommend for anyone needed a vets in an emergency!

I called up regarding my cat who’s a senior cat. The receptionist at the Wanstead Branch was no help what so ever. This was suppose to be an emergency 24 hr 365 days open line. I also selected option two to enquiry about my sick cat, and what I could possibly do to make him comfortable. I got told that she can’t tell me anything and that I’m going to need to call my normal vet to book an appointment. Which by the way is on Monday and today is a Saturday. What’s the point on having a 24hr emergency line, if there help on the other side is going to be off no help.

Had to wait more than an hour with a booked appointment, vet wasn't able to do his job and asked to come back the following day, had to wait again more than an hour and been asked 500£ just for a blood test. This place is a massive joke and will take both your time and money.
