TERRIBLE!! 1- We walk in and the receptionist is coughing strongly every minute (in full Covid season). 2- More patients waiting for the ashes of their pets than their pets. 3- I’ve never seen so many adults crying in a waiting room. 4- Animals screaming. 5- Long wait for care. 6- Exorbitant prices and long wait for bill. 7- Very subtle explanation of what is actually going on when they treat your pet. 8- Most necessary emergency reviews are 1 star. 9- Couldn’t wait to get my cat back so I could pay and run to a different Pet hospital. (Like the insanely amazing one in Camberwell). 10- My pet is now on opioids as I leave this terrible Goddard so called Hospital. (More like a tanatorium if you ask me).

My cat Oscar had a full course of chemotherapy here, over 15 sessions. His lymphoma went into remission. The staff were friendly and professional. Thanks to the team there for keeping my little guy going!

If your pet needs surgery or its an accident of course they will help as they helped our cat but it is all about money. We came first with cat she needed surgery and it was quite expensive but it looks like she was fine after as she was discharged as"everyrhing is fine". Suddenly at home she started to have seizures and she was falling over and she didn't eat and she was keep walking in circles.. And she spend 4 days in clinic and they didn't seen that? When we were back because poor cat got another episode they said she looks fine (she got better in taxi as she got seizures and then she was fine for a day after) she stayed there one night and again all good. So we took her home. Then 2 days after another episode and this time they said she may be blind and she needs heart tests which costs x amount of money of course and CT but we have to wait till next week... (!!) shocking. So we took her home and monitor day and night and we went for another opinion in local vet and after short time vet said she probably got stroke during surgery or after. Because it's not enough oxygen in brain. So she find out after 20 min and clinic couldn't.. She didn't refer expensive tests she was just straight forward what will happen. Unfortunately yesterday night she got another epiosed of seizures and unfortunately we had to put her down.. Even untill last minute of the clinic they tried to trick my husband as he was paying for cremation etc they said he has u paid bill from 2 days before. He was sad and bit confused so maybe they tried luck to rip of him from more money but he got statement. After that receptionist said "oh yes all dissapeared now"completly lack of any empathy. Just money focus. Terrible experience.

I have the most beautiful loving dog from Cyprus. A year ago she started going downhill and various vets kept misdiagnosing my poor baby. I was recommended Goddard Wanstead and met with dr. Esin who insisted on retaking a Leshmenia test and basically saved my girl life! Now treated and happier then ever!

Our dog had inhaled a spiky grass seed through her nose and we were referred here by our local vet because they had the specialist equipment to remove it. Although it took longer than we would have liked for them to book her in for the procedure (just because she was in quite a lot of distress), our dog was treated kindly, when she was really terrified, and they found and removed the seed from her nose with no issues. We were so worried that they wouldn't be able to find it or remove it but the process went so smoothly. We are so relieved. They even gave us the seed to have a look at, which was very interesting - it was huge!!!

I have been a client at this vets for many years and nit the first time I have experienced money being more important than my pet. Recently I had to have my poor old dog put to sleep aside from being advised I would need to spend between £5000/£6000 for an MRI hich was located an hour and 30 mins away. I was on my own upset and crying and my dog in a real state. I was offered a less costly treatment which was £17.000 for a scan. However I was told after treatment although there was no real diagnosis that my dogs symptoms were typical of a tumour growing within the spine. I took my dog home to be with him for a few days and let my children say goodbye but hoping he would regain use of his legs, however he didn't. We made the decision to have him put to sleep. I was allowed to stand with my dog thankfully while he drifted off and whilst standing there the nurse had asked I would like to keep my dogs ashes I said that I would. The nurse collected a form which I signed and I left after my goodbye. I was charged £46 for the pleasure of responding yes to her question and signing my name and of course paid for euthanasia and everything else they could squeeze onto the bill which was £350. My dog is worth every penny and it is not a matter of how much is spent but I think with the fee for euthanasia asking what the client wants after and the client being charged for that conversation is a disgrace. It wasnt like I was invited into a room for a 20 minute consultation although "After euthanasia consultation" is how it was described! I am moving onto a Practice that I can trust in!

Incredible service. We've been impressed each time we've taken our puppy to the vet. Yesterday they outdid themselves. Our puppy sustained an injury whilst playing and they explained on the phone that it was busy, but to bring her. On arrival she was triaged, treated with compassion and joy and her wound cleaned within 15 minutes. They then refused payment and said it wasn't any trouble. Brilliant vets.
