Unfortunately very poor customer service When I went in to get my laptop fixed, there was only 1 staff in the shop on a Saturday, so there were a tonne of people queuing up.
A woman at the front of the line was waiting to return some items for her husband. She’d flown down from Karratha and had a full schedule of appointments, one of which she was actively late for because of waiting in line.
But the guy behind the counter kept serving other people first, making her wait longer and longer. While I was being served, I told him to serve her first because she’d been waiting for ages amd had other appointments, but he kept on refusing because it would “take too long and be too complicated”.
She was so polite and patient, but when he served three other people (including me) before her, she lost patience and left. He never once tried to talk to her, maybe take her number to call her back, or arrange another time for her to come in. Simply ignored her and carried on serving everyone else. Honestly, if I’d been her I would’ve absolutely blown my stack.
I understand that they were understaffed and he was trying to reduce wait times for other customers, but this was still very poor customer service skills.
