How to summarize such a wonderful experience in a couple short paragraphs? From my first visit to Chu Vision Institute, the care I received left me feeling more than confident that I had come to the right place. I had cataracts and was having trouble driving, especially at night and in the rain. In general, I struggled with seeing clearly. Because of my extreme near-sightedness, I opted for LAL lenses which require several more procedures after cataract surgery. It was well worth the journey! Driving at night and in the rain are easy again. For the first time in many, many years, no more glasses or contacts except for readers. I’m so happy with the results!
I simply can't say enough about the kindness and expertise of Dr. Chu and his team! Dr. Chu is very personable. He has this amazing ability to make you feel like you're his only patient when he's meeting with you, even though he’s taking care of many patients each day. This is truly how everyone in this clinic is as well! The expertise of Dr. Chu and his medical team was evident from my first visit. The care for my eyes was handled with thoroughness and care. It was easy to talk through questions and concerns, and I received great information each time. I’ve already been recommending Chu Vision to my friends and would give this review more than 5 stars if I could!

Chu Vision Institute is an excellent place to have eye surgery. The team was kind, efficient and very good at what they do. My surgery went smoothly; I knew what was happening and what to expect, as did my driver. They were polite and personable, as well as thorough and professional. I recommend this group.

Every step of the process went smoothly. They even accommodated my desire to have my follow-up appointments with my own optometrist in Wisconsin, and even made the appointments for me! All questions were answered and it was easy to reach someone to ask. Can't praise everyone's professionalism more.

Very well detailed in explaining every part of the procedure that is recommended for your specific eyes. The staff is incredibly nice and very well staffed. The procedure "for me" was painless and very little discomfort. I would recommend 10 out of 5 stars but that's not an option.

So, it’s been over a week since my left eye cataract surgery and I’m able to do something I’ve never been able to in my entire life: see distance out of that eye without glasses. ❤️. Today I had right eye surgery and said “goodbye” to my eye glasses. Yes, I’ll need reading glasses, but I’m truly amazed and thankful to Dr Chu and staff for giving me this gift of sight.

I've been a patient of Dr. Chu for 16 years. The first time I met him was for ICL surgery which changed my life as I was very nearsighted. I've recently had cataract surgery and opted for the new Light Adjustable lens. Wow, what a difference!
