I started out with a cheaper clone. But I realized quickly the thicker gauge of the Toja Grid modules was well worth it. Most of the welds were great. I had one weld that needed cleaning up. I did have a few issues with the 4x4 fit. But then again, that was a lumber issue. In every case I rounded off the corners with my hand router (to clear all the welds). Although it was supposed to be no. 1 ... ahhh, not quite in all cases. A couple runs of the power planer on the lumber ends and all fit great. Was it worth it? YES!

Super produit, qualité excellente, j'aurais aimé avoir quelques cache-vis noir supplémentaires par contre!

The Toja Grid system is high quality, and simple to setup, even for those with little to handy person experience.

Good day, My wife and I recently purchased two pergola kits and installed them (quite easily) in our backyard. As a building inspector I see these types of products regularly in the field and on plans. Typically, they are thin, poorly constructed, with a finish that would not stand up to the North American climate extremes (especially Canadian winters). However, the construction, build quality and shop finish is impressive to say the least. Much heavier than even I was expecting, fantastic welds and I'm not certain to what tolerance their machinists build to but each piece was perfect and identical. Additionally, we had to call on the customer service for a little guidance (as an inspector I know how things are supposed to LOOK, but I don't always know the best way to actually DO it ;) and we were again pleasantly surprised by the customer service we received. Karen and Alissa were prompt in answering my questions and we found them to be eager to assist, conscientious and knowledgeable. This company's product and customer service team is notable and stands out in my opinion. Thank you very much! Cheers, Derek

Ordered and recd a wave kit for a 10 x 12, using 6 x 6 cedar posts. Delivery was 5 days after order. Packaging was efficient and contained all items needed to secure the posts. Took about 2 hours to install, with the help of 4 friends to do the screwing and lifting. Trust me, unit was heavy. Installed on concrete pad using purchased Red Head 3.5 in. anchors. It’s one square and stable unit. Totally impressed with quality and support for Toja Grid.

We really love the look of the pergola. I used pressure treaded 6x6 post. Buy your wood early. You definitely want very dry post. Also to make life easy on me, I used a router to round off the ends so that the grids slide one easy. Very happy
