Product shipped in good condition and was well packaged. I built a 8 x 10 pergola with height of 8 ft. Purchased 6 4 x 4s eight ft long and two 10 ft long. Sanded each post and stained them black to match the hardware. Then, sprayed them with spar urathane. It was easy to install. Just slide the 4 x 4s into the corners and footings securing with provided stainless screws. The plastic black caps was a nice touch preserving the black finish without showing the bright hardware. I also bought 16 side rail mounts with two tabs to attach to the wood, but used them for installing rafters rather than using the single tab hardware designed for rafters. Added led garden lights on a 48 ft string which allowed me to run along the upper perimeter and finish down the center of the 8 x 10 area. Purchased a black rectangle 90% sun shade cloth for the top, a black 70% shade cloth for the south side, and dark grey outdoor curtains for the west side. South and East sides are not covered, but I installed curtain rods on each side for future use and flexibility in configuring the space. Placed inside the pergola is a wicker sofa, coffee table, and two swivel chairs. Makes a very nice cozy space in which to relax. Finally, I installed 20 small color changing solar lights in the spaces between the rafters and on the east side. 7 on the south, 7 on the north and 6 on the east... Back of the sofa is to the west, so, no color changing lights on that side. I am impressed with the design and quality of the products and the ease it provides in building a quality pergola. I enthusiastically recommend Toja Grid product and show off my project proudly to my friends.

Great system, makes it very easy to put up a pergola without having to start from scratch and doing a lot of hard work.

My use of Toja pergola kit is probably the most unusual. I built the carport with Solar roof using those parts. I had to use non-Toja mounts for rafters, other than that all other parts sourced from Toja. This is certainly not the least expensive solution, but the resulted construction is very strong and stable. Never regret I decided to go for that.

Super easy to put together! Beware of direction of holes in the bases. Directions are a bit lacking and would be nice if they would send a few extra screws and caps rather than the exact amount.

Everything came fast and in excellent shape. I built a 12 x 10 pergola using 4x4 cedar. The Toja connectors are really nice and fit with a bit if coaxing. It becomes heavy so 3 or 4 people are needed for a safe construction. We got white sails/shades for a really modern look. Needed to order an extra side shade to block all the sun. Works like a charm. Had my inlaws over for a lunch and our south facing backyard was well protected with the toja system. Note: it is not waterproof but i wasn't expecting it to be Also don't pull too hard on the clips or they will break. Very happy so far and so are the neighbors.

The product is great, comes cut (we got the custom cut shade) to order, and works very well with the included hardware. Shipping was included (in Canada). Lets the rain drip through so there is no pooling, and gives you comfortable shade in the sun.

I purchase the kit to build a pergola over a year ago and love it. I then ordered the 2’ shade sails for the sides to help shade along with two tables for the posts and love them. Everything was easy to assemble and put up and with each add on it looks even better! Everyone who sees ours asks about it and loves it. Ordering from Toja Grid is easy, shipping quick and customer support when needed is there. What makes it even more meaningful for me is being Canadian! I recommend to many people including family and know some have gotten their own. Kevin Wallis
