My pergola went up fairly easy using standard sized 4x4 lumber. I built it on the ground then raised it onto my deck which was difficult for 2 men but we managed. I'd recommend a 3 or 4 people to make the lifting process easier. In the end it came together beautifully in about a half a day. I also added some roller shades for privacy and to keep the sun out when wanted and that was very easy to install due to the straight lines of the grid and was a perfect addition to my grid.
On a side note the customer service from Toja grid was fantastic with quick responses and good recommendations to my questions.

Great system! Looks awesome!! Pretty easy to install - the last two posts were difficult to connect because of weight(definitely need more than two people) the 4x4s get heavy. I am already thinking about adding another unit to my side yard.
