I purchased enough 6x6 Grid pieces to complete a 12X14 pergola. because the 2 segments were constructed as a 12 x 8 and a 12 x 6, I had to wait until the frame was complete before ordering the shades.
I used pressure treated 6X6 which were VERY heavy but all went together without any issues in about 3 hours with the help of 2 strong helpers.
The shades arrived 2 weeks later and I was able to install them in an hour and they fit perfectly.
I am super pleased with the outcome and would recommend the TOJA GRID to anyone considering a pergola of this type..

Was very easy but I wish more black caps were included. It looks better with all the screws in the post in my opinion. You can only get more caps if you buy the screw pack which is insanely $25 for 25 pieces

Brackets came just as described. I built a 12x15.5 pergola with 4x4 pressure treated posts. Building it was very easy except for the actual lifting part. They recommended 4 people and I will say the more the better. I will be ordering some more brackets to build another structure and a privacy wall to the current one.

My two teen boys and I managed to put our 4x4 triple pergola kit together in less than two hours. It was that easy! I'm still in awe of our pergola. If we can do it, you can too! I recommend it... highly!!
