We love our Toja grid. We purchased the 8x8 size using 6x6's and it is a beast. We hired a contractor to put it together. We have a sail top and a slat back. May add a second sail on one side for more privacy.

We bought a white Toja Shade Sail to install under our existing pergola and we love it. It is not hard to install but you do need 2 people. We were really happy with how snug and tight it is...no flapping around because it is secured in 10 places. In retrospect, we should have bought a second set of brackets because the 4 corner brackets are designed for the Toja Grid Pergola system and are angular and harder to screw onto a flat surface. If we get significant winds...and we do live on the coast in Nova Scotia...we can unsnap the straps that secure it and take it down. The rain passes through it and doesn't puddle on it. Very happy with this product.

Being on the lake with a westerly view makes for a very sunny and sometimes very hot deck, yard and living room once the sun begins to dip down in the afternoon. Two Toja grids with sunshades and the addition of my own curtain rods and curtains seems to be the answer. I hired a contractor to install so can’t attest to how simple or difficult that was. They seemed to make short work of it, and a week later when I decided it was too high to get the most shade, they came back and within an hour had cut down two grids by 10” in height (I paid them of course :) … much better!

Very impressed with this. At first I thought it was a little expensive but they are great quality and look classy and worked out a lot cheaper than getting a standard pergola. The main reason we were sold on these is the ability to produce any size we wanted as we don’t have a standard size deck. Would absolutely recommend Toja Grid to anyone and it is guaranteed to look great.
