I purchased a Toja Grid kit that was for a 10' X16' attached pergola. First, this is clearly a good quality product, and it shipped in 1st class fashion. They shipped screws and caps with the unit, but didn't have any instructions for application, no direction on bolts to use to attach foundation pieces to your deck or house. This, I think, would have been extremely useful, at least for me. While expensive, good quality is impossible to deny and duplicate.

I absolutely love my Toja Grid. As long as you have dressed wood, it goes right together. We did not and had to cut in our edges of the 4x4s a bit, but the system is fantastic! We had 40mph winds the other day and didn’t have any issues with our 12x12 sail. It may help that we have it secured to the house, rather than on four legs, but I couldn’t be happier. It blocks the sun and adds a ton of charm too. I am so happy with my purchase. I have encouraged others to buy one. I still can’t believe how fast the shipment came. If you are hesitant, don’t be!

We LOVE our TOJA GRID. Their customer service was fantastic (we had a few issues and they were so speedy to resolve them), the product is high quality and very easy to assemble. Everyone who sees it wants to build their own. Highly recommend.

Purchased a custom-sized shade sail for our pergola. I was able to call and ask questions before purchase to make sure it was what I needed. Product arrived quicker than expected, quality appears good, no parts were missing or damaged. It's only been up for a couple of weeks at this point so I can't comment on durability season-after-season.
Note that if you're attaching to your own custom pergola rather than a TOJA GRID pergola, then you may need to fasten some additional blocks for mounting some of the brackets.

Absolutely one of the best systems on the market. We use ours for rotating trade shows and we have officially won booth of the year! Quality is excellent, fit and finish are incredible and built to last. Could not be happier.

Easy to put together with a second person. We purchased the 8 by 10 with sun screen build time
was about an hour. The only shortcoming was they could provide about twice the amount of screws and caps.
