This kit was super fun and easy to pop up. A great little backyard update. We did need to widdle down the edges for pieces to slide in, so tools were needed that we didn’t anticipate, but still fun and easy.

Hi, everything was good in terms of delivery and build quality. The screws shipped did have a tendency to strip, but I think that’s because we weren’t using an impact driver drill (we did pre-drill the holes). One thing I would really recommend is making some pieces that do a 45 degree angle with a downward post (this would allow for the creation of octagons). We ended up doing a semi-custom install and used some of the 45 degree brackets plus the simple cross beam mounts to get the 45 degree angles with a downward post right (ours was essentially a modified half octagon if seen from above).

Best product on the market for constructing a pergola. The system is solid and well constructed. Also, once your order is confirmed - you don't have to wait for weeks. The product ships right away within days of ordering.

All the parts arrived undamaged and ready to assemble. Due to inclement winter weather, I have not been able yet to completely construct the pergola.

I did the build on my own...with about 20% of my spouse help! The “key” is never exceeding 9ft in height, if you can...!! Whether your doing a 8x8; 10x10; or larger top layer...the lesser in height the easier it is to build.

I bought my pergola last year, I bought the shelf to add to it. I love it. I am trying to figure out how to put a solid roof on it for next season, I would like to sit out side in the rain. I would like any suggestions on how to do this. I don't know how to put a picture on or i would have done it.
