We purchase the 4 x 4 supports. We used these to attached 4 x 4's to out front deck. They were a bit smaller than the lumber, but worked good after sanding them down. Looks great.

I like my pergola, I just didn't like having to trim my 3 1/2 inch beams to fit into their brackets.

super easy to install, looks great. I wish they can include more screws, only 4 screws per footing doesn't seem to secure the post, I would recommend to use 8 screws. Also, there is a hole in the bracket, I don't know what it is for, I don't want to water to get insider the bracket. If you are beginner DIY like myself, highly recommended.

Really love our Toja Grid. It's really beautiful and well constructed and it was super easy to install. Already have friend and neighbors looking to order a system for next year after seeing ours. My only constructive criticism would be to make the black screw caps as heavy duty as the rest of the unit. Great Made in Canada product!

The Toja Grid system was the main reason why we decided to renovate our backyard to create an outdoor extension for our home. We love how it all came together! We purchased the wall mount pergola kit for 4x4 posts, but added additional hardware for a custom setup. Aside from an unexpected issue regarding their custom shade sail (the reason for giving a rating of only 4 stars), building the base pergola was easy as a DIY project. We added a bar table, removable exterior roller shade, and created custom horizontal wood slats. The modular flexibility with the Toja Grid is excellent and its final design is only limited to your imagination. I would recommend the Toja Grid system as a great alternative to the traditional pergola designs.

I am enjoying my Toja Grid immensely. The system only took two of us 2 hours to set up and has given us shade where before we were having to use 3 umbrellas that would need to be lowered and raised every day and still not get the coverage and beauty the Toja Grid provides. Another thing I love about the product is that the shades snap in and out easily to let the sun in the winter months through the patio doors. The one and only thing I wish is that the shades were waterproof so that the chairs don’t get wet and we can sit out in a warm summer rain with a good book and a coffee. That is the only reason for giving 4 stars. The quality of the system is 5 stars.

We like this pergola for modern and simple. Easy to assemble and install but if you are planing to install on concert patio then you need some efforts and tools needed. We used it for a month and the shade is great too. Even in hot weather under the shade keeps it cool.
Would suggest some improvements,
1. The screws provided are metal screws which needs pre drill to install on wood correctly, so either provide a drill or change the screws so it can be installed easily.
2. Provide few shade color options without extra charge.
