Our experience with the vets here was good overall, with the initial check, neutering and vaccination all done well and the cat recovered alright despite being very prone to stress. However, the best part was the entropion surgery on both of our cat’s eyes. He has been suffering a lot as he was growing with the problem, and the surgery helped a lot. We were consulted on all the steps, the post surgery care was explained and we were supported the first few days when the pain and discomfort were the greatest. Now it’s been about a couple of months after surgery, and the scarring is gone, the eyes healed and look beautiful - symmetrical, bright and open wide. He’s also a much calmer and happy kitten now. We couldn’t be happier!

We were nervous about moving from our old vet, but our first consultation and treatment with Goddard Veterinary Group here was excellent. Made my senior greyhound feel very comfortable.

Such a lovely vet clinic, couldn’t have asked for friendlier staff. They really took the time to keep our cat at ease and explained everything thoroughly. Would highly recommend!

Great experience overall but so so pricey, cost me nearly £100 just for the vet to check over my cat for 5 minutes!

The receptionist and the vet were both very warm and helpful. I was given a range of treatment options and prices so I could choose what best suited my situation, instead of being guilt tripped into the most expensive thing. I will definitely keep taking my pet here and really recommend the practice.

The vet Judy Ann Thomas is so lovely, professional and helpful. I had 2 locum vets before her and they were awful, I’m so glad I have Judy Ann now.
As for the receptionists, where do I start. Firstly the phone is never picked up, I call sometimes 6 or 7 times in an hour and it is never answered. And then in the practice itself, they are so incredibly rude and sassy, you ask them basic questions and they look down on you and speak back to you as if you’ve asked them the most stupid question in the world.
It’s such a shame because the vet is amazing but the service from the receptionists is really not. I don’t understand why it’s so hard for them to be friendly and pleasant and not passive aggressive.
