The receptionist I spoke to at 10:30 on 1/07/2024 was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I called to inquire about the availability of an emergency appointment for my cat, she informed me that they were fully booked for regular appointments. However, I was specifically asking about an emergency slot. She insisted that I call back the next morning for an emergency appointment, and when I asked if I could book it now instead, she repeatedly told me they were fully booked.
Her hostile tone and condescending attitude were completely unnecessary. She spoke to me as if I were a child and was unclear about the distinction between regular and emergency appointments. All I did was ask a simple question. If she is unhappy with her job, she should consider leaving and allowing someone else, perhaps an immigrant, to provide better service. Customer service requires proper customer skills, which she clearly lacks. She should be sacked.
