I have been working with Matkowsky Immigration Law firm from June. Katherine Filewych was the lawyer I was working for the whole time. She did a tremendous job in preparing a solid case for appealing the initial decision to deny my student visa application and my husband's open work permit application. It took a month or so yo collect all supporting documents and prepare a report, which turned out to be 20 pages. My decision to choose MIL will remain one of the best decisions I have ever made. In Jan 2021, I submitted a well prepared Canadian Study Permit application which was refused in May 2021. I had done my research and noted that once an applicant is refused, He/She becomes flagged. I was not prepared to go through that whole route of being refused again and again and again! Moreover, I felt I had a very strong application and weighing the reasons of refusal that was stated, I felt those reasons didn't add up considering the thorough documentation I had presented. When I first got talking with Amanat, the initial plan was to make a fresh SP application which we began but somehow along the way, I felt I had a good case for Judicial Review (JR). Amanat reached back to Sonia & Natalie and they both confirmed that I had a good JR case. Matkowsky Law professionals took up my case personally. I was over impressed with the 10 paged document that was prepared in my defense. The submission to DOJ was made and 9 days after, an offer of settlement was granted! 40 days later, my visa was approved and PPR sent. Folks, Matkowsky is worth the decision. They know what to do.

I trusted Matkowsky to handle my study permit after my first refusal very disappointed that after they handled it my application got rejected the second time .. am really heartbroken and devastated and I do not know what to do as I cannot afford legal fees for judicial review . Hello, I am sharing here my experience with matkowsky law. I applied my Permanent residence by myself, but later in the process I realized I unknowingly forgot to mention important facts relating to my file which could lead misrepresentation or may be 5 year ban. I was in fear because I didn't know I did that mistake. Then I book an appointment with Sonia matkowsky but John picked up the phone, he gave good instructions how they would help me out from the trouble. As I talk to John, I wanted to handle my case by him or Sonia. So John clarify that I should not worry about that and say to me your case gonna handle by our team, and they always provide collective service to their clients. But for the reason they have to assign us with one of their professional to give us updates and responses about our application. In my case, they assigned me with "Nima Chooback" and he gave me excellent service about my case. I was in rushed during the process, he told me to calm down and say we handle much difficult cases than this. He tried to save me from every corner and he put all his efforts for getting good results. It took him 2 weeks to finalize the response for IRCC. Because of him, we submitted proactively response and everything is sorted out. He wrote a professional letter. Now I am permanent Resident of Canada because he shows his efforts in my application. My case is quite serious because I have been rejected by USA twice and Canada once.
