Co-owner Ryan Taylor is a gem of a guy (see hat I did there?) who has the beard of a hipster, the heart of a saint and the soul of an old-world craftsman. The materials and workmanship are superior. The service and attention to detail are outstanding.

My experience with FTJCO couldn't have been better! They worked tirelessly with me on my custom engagement and accommodated my desire to be hands on with the project. Robin's design sketches helped to turn a mental image into reality, and their professionalism and attention to detail far exceeded my expectations. We just bought our wedding rings from FTJ and we only have praise for the company. We live in Europe but it was not a problem at all. Our contact at FTJ answered to all our e-mails within 12 hours (even on weekends) and we could design the exact product we wanted. The rings got shipped via courier and we received them within 3 days. It was a great experience from start to finish and we feel lucky to have been able to get Fair Trade Jewellery products for our special day.

Robin and his team were extremely knowledgable and wonderful to deal with during our engagement ring design process. With their 3D printer we were able to try on the prototype and make some final tweaks before committing to the final design. We're extremely happy with the ring and will be coming back here for our wedding bands. Ryan and Robin really helped me with my fiancées engagement ring. I had brought an aquamarine from Namibia, a stone with special meaning to us. It was quite large making for a difficult setting. My fiancé and I came here October 2013 to have my engagement ring made, we were part of the design process to make sure it would be a piece I would love for years to come. The whole process from start to finish took about 6 weeks, and we were engaged in November. While I loved the ring, because of course my fiancé gave it to me it didn't quite come out the way I had envisioned. The milgrain detailing around the edges wasn't very prominent, very hard to see, and I love the antique heirloom look it gives to a ring. So I brought these concerns to the attention of Robin, the designer and owner. Quite a few months later I might add because I was a little hesitant to tell my fiance it wasn't what I pictured because I didn't want to hurt any feelings. So I brought the ring back the following June 2014 because I decided if it were any other piece of jewellery I probably would have just left it alone, but this was a piece that I would be wearing for a lifetime and I wanted it to be my style and I wanted it too have the quality look of other rings with a similar style (think Tiffany's Legacy style!) After I told him about my issues, he immediately responded and told us to bring the ring in and he would see if he could fix it. Well he did better then fixing it, he completely remade the ring from scratch and it came out PERFECT! I'm absolutely in love with it, it's so me! I couldn't be happier with the end result, and the quality customer service I received! That's what keeps a good business in business. Thanks again Fair Trade Jewellery Co.

Carry on and good luck with this online performance which validates my concerns that calling out a doubling of the overall price, questioning price of each component and asking to speak the owner would be considered in any way indicative of mistreatment. Poor business including: Poor ethics Poor customer service Poor problem solving skills Adds up to a lot of bad publicity for a worthy and justifiable cause How commendable Futilely mute though
