I had the good fortune to speak to JAY who talked me through the whole process of buying a new electric scooter for my son as his old one of only 10 days of use was stolen while lock up. I was looking at a scooter with a key lock. We discussed one that was $1800 with everything I wanted but it weighed 30 kilos, a bit heavy but ok. He next asked all the pertinent questions as I was not knowable about electric scooters. He then started talking about this now scooter that did not have a key lock but could be locked from an app on you phone which was less expensive but had al the features required for hills and was inly 18 kilos so did not have to be super man to carry it up stairs when required. He email me all the states for the 2 scooters while I look at them he went and called one of your technical experts to make sure he was giving me the correct information about the security of these scooters as that is my main objective of purchasing one. He came back to tell me yes with the app you can lock the scooter and only you can unlock it. For extra security I spoke to him about locks and was abused that the U lock is one of the best bolt cutter will no cut through it. So after digesting all off this information and speaking to my son who lives in Brisbane while I live in Cairns decided to by the scooter with the app for security and its functions also bought the U lock. I am very happy with my purchases as JAY did not try to lead me towards the most expensive product but the one that he thought was best for my son. I really appreciated his time as I have no knowledge of e scooters. Please thank him for his patience with an old lady and maybe a box of chocolates. Thank you Julie Starke

Emily in particular, and the team in general, at Scooter Hut Newtown are fabulous. I wandered in one day with not a clue as to which electric scooter I needed. Emily, very patiently, led me through the art of the possible and I left with enough confidence to run my own analysis. I then took the result back to Newtown and Emily concurred with my choice. She and the team then assembled the scooter, demonstrating as it went on how to do the assembly and therefore the maintenance. I've now ridden quite a few kilometers on the scooter and its a cracker. Thanks Emily and team. You're patient, very knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to deal with.

As an older rider (50-55 age bracket) I was just wanting an alternative to parking my car at car parks "it keeps getting damaged by other drivers". I thought an e-scooter could be worth looking into for local trips and work trips to the train station and back.
Upon doing some research online I headed into Scooter Hut Gold Coast (Robina) and was greeted by a really friendly and knowledgeable staff member "sorry I forget his name as I would love to mention him, Saturday morning 5th March" who gave me the run down of the e-scooter, then built it for me when I said I would purchase it. He answered all the questions I had, and as far as the ride home went, I had a blast "I should mention I do also ride motorbikes and have had an electric skateboard in the past so believe I am not over the proverbial hill as yet!" I think for the small price paid for the Inmotion S1 as opposed to the insurance excess on getting my car fixed, this really is a no brainer purchase for me, and I absolutely love the e-scooter. Don't knock it till you've tried it I say, and a big thanks to Scooter Hut Gold Coast (Robina) for being so awesome. Happy riding all

As with all the other scooter hut stores ive been to both here and in adelaide, the staff are always amazing and go out of their way to please, and with a couple of thousand spent in store and online i still havent found anything to speak poorly of. Keep it up guys! Love your work!
