Please stay away from this veterinary hospital. I cannot believe what they did to me.
My cat was constipated. I came to get some advice and they scared me that my cat can die if I don't leave him with them for some blood tests. They said that in the worst case scenario, if he is seriously ill, he would need to stay overnight in the hospital and this would cost me around £1000, but flagged that it is very unlikely. I got scared and agreed. I thought that if there is nothing serious, it would cost me under £300. Just to touch his belly they heavily sedated him. They made me pay £700 for a blood test and anaesthesia, just to confirm that he is a little constipated and dehydrated, which I told them myself when I brought him. The clinic manager who treated my cat was trying to convince me on the phone that I needed to leave him overnight on the drip, which would cost me £2000. I said that I will take him home and they said that they need at least one hour before they can give him back to me. I am in my early twenties and they forced me to pay half of my monthly wage for nothing. I was crying all evening because this is just inhumane. I had to ask my relative to lend me £200 to pay the remaining fee, as I need to pay my rent soon and I simply have no more money.
One day later, my cat is totally fine. They could have told me to wait one day to see if he is still constipated and advise me to give him more liquid and less food. This is cruel, I cried my eyes out because I cannot afford to buy food until the end of the month.
I hope there is some humanity in you and you can treat your future customers, who are just worried about their beloved pets, with dignity. A big lesson for me.
