I went in to the Allwest branch in person (as I classically waited until the last minute) The broker asked me about how long I had been driving and took me through private insurance options for my over and above ICBC options. Basically Allwest saved me about $200 on this year’s rate. Well worth going to the ICBC experts.

I had the most amazing staff member named Charanjot who dealt with me from beginning to end. I was purchasing a car from Australia before moving to BC, and she was absolutely incredible! She explained my dumb questions to me and really went above and beyond to see to my needs and help me get the best deal as a new resident to BC. I swear she never sleeps, because her replies were almost instant and she made the whole process a breeze. Highly recommend Allwest Insurance if all their staff are like Charanjot.
