I applied online with them on the weekend, first thing Monday morning I got a call and text from Brandon following up on my interest in one of their cars. I sent my husband and daughter that afternoon to take a look for me. Brandon took the time to talk with him and my daughter. It was late and they were closing but he stayed anyway. He kept in touch with me throughout the week. Guided me thru the process. He has gone above and beyond what you would expect to help me make this happen and in a timely manner too. His mom, such a sweet woman who also took the time to go thru the car with me. I went on Friday to pick up my dream car! I would recommend them hands down! Best experience ever buying a car!

Stopped by when i moved back home to see what i needed in order to make a purchase, came back with everything that i needed and brandon got me into a 2019 hyundai ionic hybrid! I was in need of a car ASAP and was referred by my sister-in-law. I applied online, and Katherine and Brandon responded via text. We corresponded through text, sent in what I needed to via email. The service we received was amazing. Brandon and his mom, Michelle, was so easy to work with. We arrived later in the morning and drove off with a car by the end of the day. Fast, friendly and they took the time to explain the full process of the financing documents. Brandon also took the time to explain every feature of the vehicle and was able to address any concerns we had without hesitation. This family owned car dealer offers nice cars for very inexpensive prices. I'm a skeptic so I ran my own Carfax before coming back to purchase my Lexus. I also had the car independently checked out and nothing major to worry about. This should be the first place to go if you need a used car on the Big Island. They're near Hilo but it would be worth your time to drive from the Kona side if you're looking to buy a car.

It was Friday afternoon and we went to Big Island Used Cars because the steering had went out of our car and we needed transportation. Brandon was more than helpful getting us into a Toyota RAV4. We needed to join a Credit Union to get the loan approved. I raced down and got that done at 5:00 p.m. while the ladies in the office got all the paper work done. The car still needed detailing and they got that done. Because Monday was President's Day they stayed late to get everything wrapped up otherwise we would had to wait until the next Tuesday. They were all so pleasant and helpful and knowledgeable. I don't think I can come up with enough superlatives to express my appreciation and gratitude for their good work. Brandon was my wonderful guide through this experience of buying a car. Since the car is 20 years old, I knew there would be some maintenance. The check engine light and another light came on before I bought the car, and Brandon was so honest and kind, and helpful in every way to make sure they sold me a reliable car. It took some time, but with patience It worked wonderfully and this team was there to help me all the way. They went above and beyond to help me feel safe and secure with my decision. Brandon and his family were wonderful. We got a great vehicle for a fair price. When I noticed that the front tire tread seemed worn out, we received a new pair of tires. I highly recommend Big Island Used Cars to anyone shopping for a used vehicle. Update: we traded in the first vehicle a couple of years later for a Subaru Outback at Big Island Used Cars. After buying it, we drove it to Safeway and did some shopping, then car wouldn't start, but Brandon & crew put in a new battery for us, and it's been flawless since.
