I bought some max traxx the other day, the young bloke on the phone was very helpful, and the staff were awesome when i walked in the store. I was really surprised about how good the range was. I had previously gone into 1 4wd store and 1 other camping store and left after 10 min of looking for help and all staff too busy to even acknowledge a waiting customer (was happy to wait). Midland tentworld was great on customer service, price & range and ill shop there again for sure.

We recently purchased a car fridge from your Burleigh Heads store and after unpacking it, fitting the transit bag and switching it on, we found it to be noisy with a "rattly" sound. I checked around the transit bag in case we had fitted the bag incorrectly and discovered the fridge had panel damage on one corner. I rang the store and without hesitation the staff member told me they will replace it. A week later our replacement arrived and we went to the store to swap it over. We thought that the easiest way to go would be to swap the fridge lids over as we had used the supplied velcro tape on the original one, and swap the accessories so the store would have the leads, manual etc. in the original packaging. But the staff wouldn't hear of that, instead swapping our entire fridge and the transit bag. To me, that is service above and beyond what I have come to expect these days, leaving me most impressed with the service shown to us. Many thanks Tentworld Burleigh Heads, you can be certain we will happily recommend your store to our friends! 5 stars from a very satisfied customer!

Sooooo the Whinging Pom is back!!!
I recently purchased a second fridge from Tentworld. This was after many hours of research, which I always do, and I was happy with my purchase. I bought the fridge from Johnathan who as normal treated me with the greatest respect and in a highly professional manner. After having the fridge for a couple of days I found that the lid would leak water from the handle everytime you opened it. So being a whinger I contacted Tentworld explaining the problem. They agreed to swap the fridge with a new one but they were on back order until August. No problem as I was prepared to wait for the product that I really wanted. So I kept the fridge until the new ones were back in stock and I found many more problems with it. On one side the bottles of water would freeze and the other side were not even cold. Noooooooo it was not a dual zone hahaha. Again I phoned and spoke to Micheal explaining the problems and I told him I had lost confidence in my choice of product and wanted another brand. It is my belief that Michael spent hours trying to find what I wanted but unfortunately was unable to get one. So he agreed to give me a full refund.
I went to Tentworld today and was greeted by Debbie. Even tho the store was very busy I only waited for about 3 minutes until Debbie helped with my refund.
The reason for this review is that not only do Tentworld do their very best to help you with your purchases, they also look after you when things dont go to plan.
If you are looking to buy camping gear with good customer service then I highly recommend Tentworld in Midland. Ask for Johnathan or Debbie (as I only spoke to Michael on the phone) and tell them the Whinging Pom has recommended them. They are my "Goto People" when I go to Tentworld. I guarantee the service will be fantastic.

Just want to share and thank the ever so helpful and friendly staff at Tentworld Midland after the recent purchase of my Darche Panorama 2 Roof Top Tent with Annex. I went in store and spoke with the team and they were ever so helpful / knowledgeable and eager to help. They did not actually have the item in stock apart from the display one but give me a delivery date and delivered in a much quicker time frame than estimated. Very happy with the service and will definitely look forward to dealing with this camping super store again soon.
