Purchased a Tent (Marmot 4P hiking tent, $400) and an assortment of smaller items. Great prices and the assorted items arrived 3 days later. There was a delay on the tent but I was informed the day after I placed my order, given a revised delivery date (which they actually beat) and offered the opportunity for refund. Fantastic service. Very satisfied.

When you can't find your camping gear at a very reasonable price you should have gone here first. If I had known of them earlier I would have bought more from them. Good staff, but can be hard finding parking as it is always busy.

We went to Tentworld Fyshwick to find a weekender tent. We already have OzTents and Speedy tents so we wanted a weekender for the grownups. We were offered hugely helpful advice from the team, particularly from Greg, Lachlan and Courtney who absolutely knew their stuff! Not only were they helpful in choosing the right tent for our brief, we were educated about water resistence and other things to look for when choosing a tent. We are from Sydney and when we have bought camping gear in Sydney, the level of service and help is minimal. You pretty much have to know what you want and then the service staff will help you locate it. We have bought quite a lot of camping gear previously and have found that the level of service outside of Sydney is remarkable, and Tent City Fyshwick was no exception. The staff were respectful of the brief and didn’t try to unnecessarily up-sell us a tent we don’t need.
When we were considering two tents, particularly concerned about the size of the tent and if it would fit in the car, the team even helped us load it in to the boot to make sure it would fit. That extra mile really impressed us. We wanted to think about the tent overnight as it’s an investment, and at no time were we made to feel uncomfortable that we didn’t just buy the tent on the spot. We went back the next day and ‘kicked the tyres’ on the tent again, just to make sure we were comfortable with our choice and the team gave us the same level of service we received the day before. Honestly, we were so impressed by the knowledge and level of service we received, we will drive to Canberra just to buy camping gear in the future.

Don’t worry about going to anaconda or bcf these guys have the cheapest prices and excellent service, the manager even gave us a package deal as we bought a few items, we walked away saving over $700. Definitely going there for all our camping needs.

We went into Tentworld at Fyshwick last weekend and found the store looking great with heaps and heaps of camping gear. There were sale signs everywhere so we knew we were probably going to get a great deal. We were in the market for a new folding table and benches to use on our new year camping holiday. With some help from staff, we chose a 6ft table and 2 benches. We saw that the camping fridges had massive reductions so we had a look at them too. The manager gave us really good advice on the fridges and he made a terrific deal for us. We bought the WAECO 50L CFX fridge. initially, we went to the store to make a $180 purchase; walked out very excited about our $1200 purchases! Very happy customers.

Our scout troop was undertaking our biggest camp ever and we needed more tents, a mobile toilet block and camp toilets. These guys are a breed apart from most other camping shops in that they ACTUALLY CAMP and live their products. The experience is so different here to most other camping shops as these guys have product knowledge, are experienced and won't take you for a ride. As a scout group we certainly appreciated the quick service and the way they looked after us with their pricing. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

Great range of camping gears in tent world Fyshwick, Canberra. Bought a pump up tent, pump up shelter, queen bed/stretcher, queen mattress and 3 seater camp seats and ensuite tent. Great prices and massive discounts, much cheaper than any other camping gear shop. Really helpful and friendly staff. Very happy with the service and great value for many. Highly recommend :)

Went in to buy an esky, came out with a Waeco Dual Zone Fridge Freezer. I couldn’t not buy it for the price it was. Got a few extra bits and pieces too. Service was prompt and friendly, the range had a good span between “don’t want to spend too much” and “I want the best you can buy”.

Greg and his team at Tentworld Fyshwick are great at what they do and don’t have a bad thing to say about them! They’re knowledgeable, friendly and helpful with everything I needed. I was there yesterday and bought heaps of good gear for Christmas presents and Greg helped me pick the best gear for everything I wanted. I also bought myself two waeco fridges, a 50ltr CFX and a TB center console fridge and Greg knew all the information about them which helped me decide which one was best for me.
I’d truely recommend this place for any outdoor/camping accessories and more for anyone looking for the best gear at really low prices!

Went to Tentworld to buy some new camping gear as we just moved here from Canada and wasn't able to bring everything we needed. Greg; the store manager was great, very helpful and knowledgable, and didn't BS his way through it just to make a sale. Will definitely be back to this store, great customer service, which is quite rare in Canberra.

We bought a Black wolf turbo tent here this morning along with a few other things. The manager Greg was very helpful without being pushy and gave us a substantial discount. He also helped us to move things from around the shop into the tent we ended up purchasing so we could get an idea of how the gear we already own would fit in. We went to some other camping stores in Fyshwick but not only were they more expensive but also had less knowledgeable staff.
