Decent food for a high price. Yes, I really enjoyed my burger and the majority of the food was very good, but 8$ for a relatively small kale & coconut smoothie (half of it was likely ice anyway) doesn’t seem right. Likewise the “Roasted Beet & Goat Cheese Flatbread” was just too small of a portion for 10$. You probably won’t be filled by the portion sizes here. Needless to say the Grass-Fed burger actually was really good besides the side of bland sweet potatoes. The actual location is very nice, the atmosphere is very pleasant and the restaurant is clean. If you want to have a healthy good meal True Food Kitchen surely has large variety. But everything comes with a cost.

The food is pretty good but the prices are a little wack.
Around fall/winter they sell this apple spiced soda thats phenomenal. Downside is that its like 5 or 6 bucks a glass.

Great food but the wait is soooo long. We waited over 30 minutes for appetizers, more than an hour for food, and never got water refilled by our server :/

Food was okay. Restaurant was very loud even in the mid-afternoon. I will say the cauliflower appetizer was very good but I didn’t care for the figs in it. The butternut squash pizza was an odd combination of flavors to me and I really didn’t enjoy it. Crazy overpriced cocktail.

Delicious and sustainable menu with so many options! I have been planning a meal to try out True Food Kitchen for the longest time! The only reason I gave this location three instead of five stars was because the front door would not close all the way and we were freezing on and off for half our meal. It was extremely uncomfortable and hard to enjoy the delicious food we ordered, I even had to get up and close the door myself one of the 20 something times it was left open (There were no hosts at the front to close it). Apart from that the menu was a little pricey but the food tasted great!

I imagine this place hits a certain crowd REALLY well. I'm not in that crowd. It seems like it's made for hipsters and vegans, which is totally fine, but for someone looking for gluten free food with meat involved it was very difficult to find something to eat and I had to settle for something that sounded questionable. It was decent, but really spicy, and difficult to eat much of. I love all sorts of food, American to Lebanese to Korean to Indian and everything else, but this didn't really fit into any category. If you're a hipster vegan I imagine you'll love it!
