Helpful staff and a great range of tents that are reputable brands. Only downside is the cheaper tents aren't setup to view. But they will help you out and advise best tent and equipment to suit your needs.

Want to pick up a click and collect order before receiving an email to say its ready (ordered at 7am - picked up at 9am!) - check!
Ask to get rid of the cardboard box for the product - check!
All of these things handled by the two absolute legends at the front desk with professionalism and class. Great customer service. Well done!

This review is a little late so my apologies. I received a gazebo for my birthday a few years ago. There were a few faults with it so I contacted Tentworld. Their customer service was next level, very professional, resolving the problem immediately. Very impressed. Hence, I’m a tad embarrassed that it’s taken me this long to write a review but I felt this company deserved to have all the 5 star reviews they can get.

Excellent customer service by the guy there. He was by himself with quite a few other customers there but I just had knee op and wanted to grab 2 camping chairs. But I couldn't climb the stairs, so even though he was the only 1 there(well what I could see) he went up and bought them down. Thankyou.

My wife and I had been looking to buy a good quality self inflatable camping mattress or two. After visiting several other branded stores my wife rang Tentworld in Punchbowl. Angela answered the phone quickly and provided us an excellent run down of what they stocked. Based-on the info provided I drove the 20 mins to Tentworld Punchbowl. I met Angela and she could not have been more helpful! She checked the pricing and made sure we got the best price for a quality product. Reece also helped in the process. I was very impressed by the quality of the stock held across the board. They seem to have great prices and no tricks. As I was a first time customer of Tentworld Angela told me about the history of the Australian family owned company. I will certainly be going back! Maybe tomorrow!

Exceptional Service from the Legends at Tentworld Punchbowl!
A huge shutout to the two legends working on Wednesday afternoon (12/03/25) at Tentworld Punchbowl! They went above and beyond to help me navigate a tricky third-party warranty issue, making what could have been a frustrating experience an absolute breeze. Their knowledge, patience, and dedication to customer service were outstanding, and thanks to their efforts, I’m back out camping with the gear I needed.
It’s rare to find staff who genuinely care and put in the extra effort, but these guys delivered in spades. I can't recommend Tentworld Punchbowl enough—great service, great team, and a store that stands by its customers. Thanks again!

Our family is super grateful to find Daniel at Tentword. He was absolutely sensational! We had so many questions about our next camping tent as we wanted something that could now fit a family of 4 and cover our needs.
Regardless, he was patient, detailed and analytical, covering all available options and recommending the best for our needs. It’s a delight when you find someone who knows the products he is selling inside out and who loves what he does.
Totally worth the trip to Tentword because of their variety of camping products, the display of tents and the service Daniel provided.

There's products, and there's service. Generally you get either one, and rarely do you get good products and services combined. In special mention, I want to thank the team at Punchbowl.
I've received top service from Matt, Reece and Ashleigh on all my visits. Not only do they know their products really well, they are also very friendly and treated my wife and I like we are family. They helped me carry out my tents, put it on my roof racks and continued to give meaningful advice and recommendations throughout our new outdoor adventure life.
I've not been here once, but on multiple different occasions for different needs, I don't always buy on the same day, infact we come on multiple different days to get a better look and understanding of the products before we buy. Never once were we given the "omg go away or buy something look"... Matt even offered me a coffee and proceeded having a good long chat with me about outdoor activities.
Reece however helped me the most, he always approaches at the right time, just when I have a few questions on my mind about certain products, he will come with a smile and an attitude to help me with what ever I'm after. He's great with his knowledge of tent products, and he's honest to say that he'll check with others if there were features or specifications that I'm after that he is unsure of. I really appreciate the honesty and much prefer this than the "oh yes I assume that this tent will do this" or that "it has a full 150D all around with 100% waterproofing you will never get any leaks in any Coleman tent" response I get from other big named brands that sells similar products.
Their products are top quality and the best part is that most of the products are on display, and you can actually walk into all tents and interact with items so you can get an accurate understanding to see if they are fit for purpose, it makes a huge difference than just looking at a box. I'm guilty of rearranging a fair few furnitures upstairs in tentworld to see if they fit in a certain tent that I wanted to buy (and bought).
I buy from tentworld not because it's the only choice around, but because the staff treats their customers like family. They are honest, knowledgeable, and they geuinely care about recommending the right products. You make your own purchase decision when you're ready and never due to fomo or get pressured into it. I buy from tentworld because of staff like Matt, Reece and Ashleigh. Tentworld is just a store that sells outdoor goods, but it's the staff that gives it character and ultimately the unforgettable unique experience that makes the brand shine.

I bought a Darche Panorama 1400 roof top tent. The tent is great quality and easy to use, though I have not actually slept in it yet. The reason for this review is that I didn't watch the unpacking video (watch it!) and ended up tightening the roof rack bolts way to tight. This ripped the thread on the bolts/nuts. I needed to get replacements and Punchbowl Tentworld happily and quickly arranged for Darche to generously provide me with 4 sets of roof rack fittings free of charge. They were in the post the next day.

My partner & I had a great experience at Tentworld from the team at Prospect. I hope I remember correctly the man’s name in particular who assisted us, “Trevor”?
A really capable & helpful staff member that knew good information about the camping beds we purchased giving us confidence to buy the best one for the money we wanted to spend. Trevor even demonstrated with the display one how to best fold it over to then squash out the air with our body weight to make it an easy process to unroll, self inflate & then release both caps to push out the air. We’ve been camping a couple times now & really happy with our purchase & the information we have received at Tentworld Prospect by the helpful staff there. Thanks guys

Called in to The Punchbowl store last week to purchase an Oztent 270 awning. On arrival I was met by a highly professional and motivated team of individuals who actually cared for the the products they sell and customer satisfaction.
Unfortunately the 270 didn't fit on my ute. After a little research, including a laugh or 2 on both sides of the counter, the team ended up recommending & providing a Foxwing 180 and walls instead.
A fantastic shopping experience, well worth the drive! I can't rate these guys enough for their outstanding conduct, attitude and knowledge on all things camping
My girlfriend and I took our boy camping last weekend up to Katoomba. It rained pretty much the whole time, but the awning stood up to all of mother natures tears
Since then, we've sourced & added a tagalong tent for additional room.

How great are these guys! Had an issue with a product, but instead of the third degree, I was given an email address to send some photos of the problem. Dropped in the next day with the faulty item, expecting to have to wait a week or two, only to be greeted with friendly understanding staff and a replacement ready to go! Service doesn’t get much better than that. I’ll definitely be buying from Tentworld Archerfield again, and I recommend them wholeheartedly.

What is with the unfavourable reviews of the staff at Tentworld Punchbowl?
I have shopped and browsed at the Punchbowl store on at least ten occasions and found them all helpful, courteous and happy.
Unfortunately, camping was not available for me as a child, so when I decided to purchase 2 Tents and a Gazebo, I went online and watched the videos on how to put up/erect the tent and Gazebo 3 times and also downloaded them on my phone in case I had memory failure at the campsite.
Just recently, I had an issue with the Gazebo canopy. I sent an email to the Punchbowl store along with pictures and a brief explanation of what and how it happened. The whole Gazebo was replaced with a new one for me to pick up within 48 hours.
Tentworld stocks major, good quality brands and the brands themselves have stringent quality control issues; yes, I understand only too well that problems can occur; however, by watching a related video on your item, many " sinking feelings " and " I should have thoughts" may not tarnish what should be an enjoyable camping experience with your gear doing what it is supposed to do.
