We had such a great experience with SamIvy dog training! We worked with our puppy Theo, and our 8-year-old dog Bruno and the training techniques worked so well for both of them. Bringing a new puppy into a home with an older dog had me feeling pretty stressed and overwhelmed, but the training made such a difference. It was really helpful learning how to train a new puppy while also reinforcing good habits with our older dog.
Our trainer, Ryann was absolutely amazing. She was so sweet, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. She explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and gave us practical tools we could start using right away. Even though the training was on Zoom, it felt very personal and supportive.
Because of Ryann’s help, I feel so much more confident having two dogs and managing their training and behavior. We’ve already seen great improvements with both Theo and Bruno. I’m so grateful for her support and highly recommend her to anyone looking for dog training!

My husband and I were at a loss on how to manage the escalating aggression between our two female dogs—a German Shepherd and a Siberian Husky. We found SamIvy and were paired with Holli K., whose expertise and guidance made an immediate impact.
Through her knowledgeable and unique training approach, Holli empowered us to take the lead in establishing clear boundaries and reinforcing consistent commands. As a result, we are now able to confidently manage tense situations and have effectively eliminated the aggression between our dogs.

We had an amazing experience working with Hollie. From our very first interaction, she took the time to truly understand who Kalos was. She showed a genuine desire to learn about his past and what may have shaped his behavior. From the beginning, she was refreshingly honest and direct, in the best way possible. She set clear expectations, kept everything realistic, and brought a great sense of humor that made the entire process far less stressful and genuinely enjoyable.
Before working with her, our dog struggled with reactivity toward his sister, which made daily life feel overwhelming. One of the biggest breakthroughs was how clearly she helped us understand his behavior. With her guidance, we were able to create better structure, establish clear boundaries, and see real progress in a short amount of time. Kalos has come such a long way.
She also showed us how to properly introduce “Spot” and Kalos picked it up incredibly quickly. Another huge win was crate training. He used to hate his crate, but she helped us understand why he was reacting that way. Now he goes in with no problem at all. He just vocalizes his emotions a bit, which we now understand.
She was also extremely knowledgeable when it came to introducing and using the e-collar. She took the time to clearly explain how and why it works, making sure we felt comfortable and confident using it in a way that was fair and effective for Kalos.
Her training gave us a renewed sense of confidence and control. Having her support every step of the way truly made a difference. We’re incredibly grateful and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for an honest, effective dog trainer who truly cares about their work.
We also knew that sending our pup to an in-person boarding program wasn’t the right fit for us, so having a virtual option with SamIvy was incredibly convenient and ultimately the best choice we could have made for Kalos.
