Holli, our exceptional trainer, played a pivotal role in our journey of understanding and training our two French Bulldogs. Through her guidance, I gained invaluable insights into the distinct personalities of my dogs – one eager to learn, the other more stubborn. Sam Ivy's commitment to our success was evident as they equipped me with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively train my pets. Addressing my dog's aggression towards other canines required dedicated effort, but through established processes, we witnessed positive behavioral changes. Holli's clarity and unwavering dedication were instrumental in our progress. The triangle method – encompassing leash, spot, and crate – proved to be a transformative approach that I am committed to continuing. Their collective care and dedication have truly made a lasting impact on our training journey.

This week we completed our training sessions with our trainer Holli at SamIvy, our experience with Holli was amazing. She understood our concerns, our needs, and the importance of our training being effective. Our dog Max is not your typical dog, Max is 145-pound Bull Mastiff who is powerful, very confident, and can be dominating. The challenges that developed because of this led to an incident between Max and my wife. This forced us to seek out help with training and that brought us to SamIvy where we met Holli who guided us with clear instructions and positivity that empowered us to have the confidence to institute the changes in ourselves and help Max be the best version of himself. Throughout this training we were able to learn the correct way to institute the proper behaviors. Throughout our 6 weeks of training, we focused on reestablishing the hierarchy of pack mentality in our house, fringe behavior, counter surfing, leash walking, and not attacking the vacuum. I can say with confidence that Holli’s training regimen was able to make all of these things happen for us. We are well aware that Max’s and our training did not end at the 6-week mark and we will have to continue the journey, but with the tools and knowledge that Holli instilled in us we can continue and be successful. Thank you, Holli, and SamIvy for everything!!

I had rescued a dog thinking that with a lot of love and patience she would become the dog I wanted her to be. But in-spite my efforts, she was growing dog and people reactive. I founds my self starting to dread taking her for walks and doing things with her. When I contacted Sam Ivy I was a skeptical but I honestly was running out of options. Today I have a different dog. She has grown in confidence, I can literally take her anywhere and trust she is going to behave and not be reactive. She still reacts to some dogs but not to a level of aggression. She listens and follows commands. I have come to understand my dog and learned how to provide the environment she needs to thrive. I hav e also seen how my dog has come to trust me, which I believe is important with anxious rescues. I cant thank Sam Ivy enough but especially Gina. Gina has been my trainer throughout the process and I could not have asked for someone more caring and understanding. She is truly a rockstar and I am thankful beyond words for the results she has delivered. I tried other obedience courses before, but Gina and Sam Ivy are truly next level. Thank you both!
