My fiancé recently passed away a couples months ago. We have a 5 year old pitbull rescue named Akilles, and a 4 month bull terrier puppy named Lyra. After she passed Akilles anxiety had gotten worse then when we first got him. He has bad separation anxiety, was abused, and periodically would bite my fiancé and I. We swore we’d never give up on him. We had to get him an impact indestructible crate because he would chew and tear up the house. When I returned to work after her passing, I’d come home and he would be chewing through the metal crate until he bled, chipping his teeth, and his crate and him would be covered in saliva. I came home one night and he had threw up all over himself in his crate and he was bleeding out of his rectum from stress while I was at work. That was the straw that broke the camels back and I broke down. It hurt so much because I was contemplating getting rid of him due to both of us not having a good quality of life, when I promised I would never give up on him, and my fiancé would be rolling in her grave if I hadn’t done everything I could for him. I was so hopeless and even as I’m writing this tears are pouring down my face. My mom and separately both saw a Sam Ivy video and took that as a sign. I scheduled an appointment with Enzo, and he was so empathetic to my situation and made me feel comfortable to give it a try. Holly, is my trainer and in my opinion an Angel sent me to help heal my broken home. I’ve been working with her for a couple weeks now. Akilles and Lyra are not fighting anymore, Akilles anxiety has gotten tremendously better where I can leave him roaming in the house while I’m at work without worrying about anything being destroyed, they’ve been so well behaved, I have peace in my house, and more importantly control over my dogs. For the 1st time since my fiancé had passed, I’ve cried tears of joy instead of sorrow. Im eternally grateful for what Holly, Enzo, and Sam Ivy has done to help my family heal from the most traumatic experience we’ve ever gone through. I have my family back and I know my fiancé is looking down on us so happy and proud!

Sam Ivy has been a God send. This program is personable and individualized. My goals going in were Behavior Training combined with Obedience Training. Those goals were accomplished. The zoom program for me was very convenient and incredibly effective. I loved the fact that all the sessions were taped so you can conduct reviews of prior sessions. Nate showed great patient with me. I now have an amazing well mannered dog and a wonderful bond with Cutie. IT’s everything I hoped for. Thank you so much.

We are very happy with the results we got from Sam Ivy K9 Training. We have had dogs in the past that we could train to behave but our two new puppies were beyond our expertise. The video call method worked really well allowing us to be inside our home, outside in the back yard, or walking down the street, whatever was needed. Our trainer Emily was fantastic and we would recommend her to anyone. We now have two well behaved dogs. It’s not cheap but it is effective.

Milo will be four months old this week, and he is a very well-trained puppy! We had some challenges with crate training in the beginning, and Holli was very helpful. Now that he has some of the basics down (walking nicely on a leash, being calm in his crate, etc) we have been able to move into obedience training, which he loves! While Milo is very sweet, he’s also very stubborn, and it was important for us to get him into a training program early. The intake call with Enzo was informative and interesting, and we are happy that we were paired with Holli and Brody!
