When we first found Sam Ivy’s programs, we were concerned about the possibility of having to rehome our 6-7 month old puppy, Bailey. She began to show signs of aggression against our 8 year old pomeranian and it started to get scary for us as she continued to grow, not to mention because she was a stray found in the wild. In the household we also were having issues with our pomeranian constantly barking and antagonizing the other dogs. Our trainer, Holli, was very encouraging and helpful in our sessions and reassured us during our dogs’ more stubborn moments that it would get better. Bailey is now 8 months old and behaves better than any other dog I’ve met! She picked up on the commands and what was expected of her quickly and has formed an amazing bond with my boyfriend and I from the consistency of the training. She learned quickly that she was not in control of the home and would face consequences for hurting any of the other pups. Our pomeranian, Gribble, now is eager to play and open to receiving pets from others besides my mom because of the tools we were given to help with his anxiety. He also no longer barks all day because he feels comfortable in the home now. The training has helped build up my relationship with him as well, and he has grown a lot more comfortable with me because of the patience I had to have with him. I would completely recommend Sam Ivy to anyone having issues with their dogs because even if the situation feels like a crazy uphill battle, you just have to stick to it and stay consistent.
