I have a 3yr. old Pug/Boston Terrier mix that is extremely skittish with anxiety issues. When she even just SAW a leash, she would run into another room, so I couldn’t ever get her on a leash. When I would take her to the Vet, I had to take her in a carrier and mind you, she weighed 30 pounds! I really felt like she was not living her best life and really wanted to be able to take her for walks and to places like the pet store; etc. At first, when I realized the training was going to be all via Zoom, I was a little skeptical, but when it was all explained to me, I totally understood & found it sensible. The first training session made me a little anxious, but Our wonderful trainer, Gina Amitable, eased my fears and explained WHY We were doing it this way and I’ll be darned if my dog, Wednesday, wasn’t walking around on a leash confidently just after the FIRST Session! I was SO happy & surprised! Wednesday also learned how to go into a crate & other things I didn’t think she’d ever master. I now take her for quarter mile walks every day and she’s lost almost 4 pounds. This program is Completely worth the money and I HIGHLY Recommend it to anyone that wants to change their dog’s behavior.

Holli with Sam Ivy training is an absolute dream! We brought home two puppies at the same time and I don’t think we would have survived the puppy stage without her. Her training has taken our dog’s behaviors and obedience to another level in such a short amount of time. Every lesson, she comes with an organized plan that she has catered specifically to our needs and not a minute is wasted. I can’t say enough good things about her and would recommend to anyone looking for a kind and knowledgeable trainer!

We have had the best experience working with SamIvy and our trainer Holli. Our dog was growling and nipping at our kid unprovoked, with the help of Holli we were able to get this behavior corrected and keep our dog with our family! For anyone struggling with your dog, I cannot recommend SamIvy enough. The process is tough but fair for both the dog and you and your family. Anyone currently going through the training process, be patient with yourself and your dog and know that it will get better.

With the help of the Sam Ivy program and Nate, our dogs have made great strides improving their behavior. Most importantly they now listen to us. I couldn’t be more pleased.
