If you're looking for a sign to go with Sam Ivy Training- THIS IS IT! DO IT! Haley S. our trainer is forever an angel in my eyes! My partner and I had ONE month to get our dogs trained enough to be safely living in the same house. We wouldn't of been able to do it without Sam Ivy and the virtual training. It was perfect to be able to train from our homes and not get our dogs anxious from having to drive 30 min to a trainer somewhere! I had literally no hope left when it came to training my dog reactive 7 year old AmStaff/Boxer. My partner has a 35lb chow mix that my dog had tried to eat at one point! We contacted Sam Ivy and got enrolled for classes the same day! I had gotten so anxious at my dogs reactions that I stopped going for walks during the day to avoid other animals. We dedicated every moment we had to working on our training with both the dogs and within one month the dogs were living in the same house! I will say I had doubts in the beginning simply because I just did not believe anything would help. Haley was AMAZING! She helped me build the confidence I had lost in myself and my dog. The dogs weren't exactly best buds after the first month, but they could sit next to each other calmly and that alone was such an accomplishment! We kept at all the things we had learned from training with Haley and it's been around 2 months now and they love each other! It is mind blowing to me still! They play together and lay right next to each other licking each other now!! I am able to take my dog on walks without panicking and we started going more places and doing more things as a pack! I finally feel in control of my household and it was the best blessing I could ask for! Sorry this is a mile long, but if you have a reactive dog and you're considering Sam Ivy for training I 100/10 recommend it! Be willing to put the time and dedication into the training your dog deserves and I can almost guarantee with Sam Ivy you will get amazing results!

After a few months of aggression from my 2 year old GSP and a few bad bites, I had enough and reached out to Sam Ivy K9 Consultants in desperation. We went with the intermediate on-leash program and had Nate as our trainer. I can't say enough great things about him or the program! Scout is a total new dog, and I know I can take him anywhere with the confidence that I am in control of the situation thanks to the tools I learned in the Sam Ivy program. I can attest that even the most skeptical will be 100% happy with the investment they make in this training, and you'll love your dog even more (if that's even possible!)

Our family welcomed a rescue Beagle into our home last year who was very sick. As he got better and got more comfortable with us, we realized that he was waiting for cues from us that we didn't know. In the absence of these cues, he would act out and became increasing anxious. He also seemed to hate baths.
We contacted Sam Ivy and got connected with Thuylihn. She was the most amazing and responsive trainer. Within 2 days of getting our dog on the leash, he was responsive and far less anxious. She even helped us get him to take a modified bath outside involving a kiddie pool, 2 cups, and lots of blueberries. The kids love it.
After graduation we left him with a dog sitter. He was great and even met us with the threshold commands when we came home without asking. What an awesome dog. Thanks so much, Thuylihn and Sam Ivy K9, for helping us connect with our dog.

I would highly recommend Sam Ivy! Not only did our pets need training, but so did we. Our Trainer was Haley Snyder. She was amazing!!! Haley was very knowledgeable and very patient with us in answering our million questions we had as dog owners. We can not thank her enough for helping us with training Milli and Mello!!
